New Member Unable to Receive PMs

Hi, I'm aware from reading the FAQ that there are restrictions on new accounts, including not being able to send PMs. However, since one of the questions is "I received a private message, why can't I send a reply?", it implies that new accounts should still be able to receive PMs. Another member had attempted to PM me, but said that didn't work. Even though my specific situation will be moot once I'm no longer a new member, I wanted to report this since it seems like it is a bug that could be affecting all new members.

The simplest solution would be to find a topic that interests you and post a conversational reply that's compliant with the Rules Of Conduct. Then, you'll have your five approved posts and the PM feature will unlock so that you can use it.
