I know what your thinking. This guy is paid by Abyss to sell dolls. I am not paid nor employed by Abyss. I only get a slightly better discount when I BUY stuff. I am a multiple doll owner and have been in the Doll life for 10yrs now. I know what you want and what you are going to buy. I am trying to save you some money, because I know you are going to spend it down the line

How/when or whatever can i get atleast $1000 off ordering only 1 doll? Cant afford one without a discount, my country sucks and want almost 50% in taxes and customs fees and so on when ordering one of these dolls so as you can imagine, a $8000 doll ends up costing almost $15000 Before its at my door.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following this thread and omg, the detail you all put into your custom dolls is soooo impressive. Between choosing the right face-up, mixing resin colors, and customizing outfits, it’s like each one becomes a whole vibe on its own. Likeeeee the creativity here just gives me major inspo for my next piece. Ngl, sometimes I get intimidated by how perfect things look, but then I remind myself: it’s all about having fun and making something that you love.

This was pretty much a keep the company afloat decision. You want more doll choices, you have to buy dolls. With Captain Chaos Tariffs, silicone prices have increased 35%. Your lucky Rd is offering 5 dolls for sale right now...

No I'm not "lucky" they're offering almost no selection these days, there's a several other manufacturers out there I enjoy as well.

Why do you buy their products? It could be because they offer better engineering and design of American female looks, or the fact that well taken care of Rd's, last decades. Other brands are trashed in a year or less. I have tried other brands, and they are not close to Rd for value, looks or longevity.......JMO.

And dont get me started on what no one knows, or wants to admit, about the economics of manufacturing in USA right now....

To be completely honest, I'd rather spend $6,000 on a doll that I want versus a doll that I do not want. And on that note, Abyss eliminated every head I like except Olivia, and most of the body types. And for what is available, the customization options are non-existent compared to before. I understand Abyss may be nearly insolvent, but getting rid of what customers want is not the way to get customers. At least that's my hot take.
