Question for my new Na'vi Teddy Babe project

I'm considering a new custom Teddy Babe project. I'm exploring making a Na'vi Teddy Babe based on Neytiri from Avatar. She won't be life sized, of course. That would require a ten foot Teddy Babe!

For this project, I'll need to make a few simple modifications, then dye the whole doll two shades of blue. Then I'd paint on glow in the dark freckles. I understand there are dyes that can work well with velour, but there are different types based on the type of fabric. Cotton or natural fiber velour requires a different dye than synthetic velour fabric.

I've asked Eighth Wonder, but haven't heard back from them yet. Does anyone here know what kind of fabric they use for their dolls?

I still love my Teddy Babes. I sleep with one every night I'm home. After watching the third Avatar movie, I've been inspired to start what could be my biggest project yet. It also has the potential to go horribly wrong so I'm going to do a lot research before committing to this one.

David, for your new project, you may want to check out HY DOLL. They sell several models of unstuffed plush skins. They have an eight-foot model also. Very reasonable prices.
I checked out your Babes. They are tasty, pretty. I want one of each. Maybe more than one.
