Hello from Sweden! :)

Hi everyone,

My name is Duke, I was born in the US but came to Sweden at the age of 4.

I’ve been into this hobby for about 3 years now and currently have 6 full-size dolls on permanent display with 2 new dolls arriving in the next month or two. I buy my dolls exclusively from Docklandet in Sweden.

As soon as I figure out how to actually post pictures and edit my profile I’ll be able to show my gorgeous artificial companions; Yuki, Lucy, Wei Ling, Lilith, Evee and Tifa.

All my ladies have their own distinctive styles but mostly wear black.

I’ve always been interested in robots, action figures and other kinds of dolls. Other than my lovely ladies I have probably Swedens largest collection of GI Joe (arah) and also collect vintage Star Wars figures and Monster High Dolls as well as some xxx-rated animé-figures I bought in Japan.

Well, that’s enough for now I guess. I’m not very active online but am happy to be a part of a growing community.

Hello Duke. Somehow, your name made me suspect you were originally from the US. Or, I suppose you might have a title from the UK.

I am sorry you ran afoul of the dreaded Rule1a. You are not the first and will not be the last. If you post in the “members only” sections then Rule 1a, as it is currently written, does at least allow you to name and post photos of your doll brands, but not actively promote them or post logos or links.

You will be able to post photos after five (I think) approved posts. With such a wonderfully varied selection of doll brands I am sure your photos will be received with enthusiasm.

Welcome to TDF, I suspect the most friendly and least-toxic forum left on the internet. (Even with the dreaded Rule 1a. )

I should’ve read the rules more carefully. I didn’t realize it was an issue but now I understand why now.

Yeah, my first name is Duke William but everyone calls me Duke. Originally from Woodbridge,VA. I jokingly refer to myself as an ”American in Exile”.
