I swear to god I was just looking at that last night, 164J is ALMOST like a smaller version of 174G, with the exception of their backs. The 164j 's back is not as developed, no lats, very slender, the 174g has a back, some muscle tone, the asses are VERY similar I still think the 174g edges out the 164j in that department. but the j is definitely a good substitute for someone looking for similar features, in a smaller doll. I'll post up some pics later when I get home and make room for some comparison shots. THAT is the one thing all the dolls bought this year have in common - HOT asses!!

And you are right.. someone asked me on another thread what was my favorite out of the 50+ dolls I've owned over the years and I didn't really have a favorite. He made a good point saying it hasn't been made yet. This is somewhat true. I believe I won't ever have a favorite because the way technology keeps advancing on these dolls. Like you said there is always going to be something better..

To me it looks like the 174G and 164J are very much scaled up /scaled down versions of the same theme.
i've done a few comparisons and seen them from others.. perhaps a comparisions section on the forum could be useful for prospective shoppers

After giving Barbi’s neck a good tightening, I decided to to give my new babe a good lip coloring



Having done that, I decided to try that method on the girls nipples, making them a more desirable color to me, then sealing with Permatex, would make them almost permanent








Same method as the lips, except the Permatex is brushed out more, turns less glossy, I need to apply some denatured alcohol to flatten any shine left from the Permatex. After applying, I tamped it with a paper towel which took some of the sheen out, then powdered when they were dry, came out pretty damn good I think
