My current vision doesn't have any trim pieces, it will just be that fabric. I've thought about adding some beads or something for a little 'extra' but I'm not sure on that yet. She will have a little belt where some wands will be holstered, and a hat to match the dress!

Based on my progress after one weekend working on her dress, there is a good chance that she'll make her first appearance in a different outfit while I finish her dress. The learning curve is steep!

Another step in the process, my little mage has a staff! Amethyst beads, wire, jump rings, and a piece of Lego! Pretty sure she's casting a spell on my heart because the more I make for her the more I fall in love with her!

I've been making progress on the dress. If you're curious about that process feel free to check out the link to my maker thread in my signature!

Mmm… she’s a charmer for sure!

It’s fine with me if you leave her naked…

No, no. You don't leave the mage naked. Because when you do, they get cold and start playing with fire magic! Bad idea!

100%. I promise to update you over the weekend of my progress! Hopefully it will be a photo of her in her new dress, or maybe it will be a photo of a ball of fabric on fire! 8O

No fireball! Progress was actually good, much to my surprise! I had so much anxiety going into this today. I nearly wasted my entire day because of it! More details of the project have been posted in my maker thread, but here's the progress:

It fits!

...Does anyone know how to get a stain out of vinyl? It isn't super visible in the photo, but there's some staining on her forehead from her hat. I don't think it's the fabric, I think it was some fabric marker that I didn't wash out.

Wow! Incredible work the outfit, staff and everything Agent! She definitely has a spell on you!

This stuff is specifically designed to remove stains from vinyl dolls, it works very well,
this is not acne cream

She 100% does!

Perfect! I'm going to get some of that ordered. It looks familiar. Is this what you got when you first stained Jojo? I didn't think of going back to see what you did until you mentioned it here.

I've got the hat back on her because I want to see if I solved the problem by washing out the fabric pen (it is meant to simply be rinsed out) or if it may be something else like the fabric or thread. There's really no space left in the hat to add additional fabric so I might end up remaking it. Luckily whatever caused it seemed to have no effect on her hair!

Thanks for stopping by, everyone! I'm hoping to get a post up with more details and angles tonight!
