Hi, it is not allowed to show 153cm &158cm body on website, so the website info is not full enough. Turn to me for help if you have any questions. My email is always open to reply customer's questions.

Finally I've found the orginal inspiration for one of my photos - Filippo Albacini (1777–1858), The Wounded Achilles. Marble, 1825.

These two photos from Haremlover's post above illustrate how doll's lower legs are always 4 to 6 inches longer than what a real person has. In the case the doll resembles a 5 foot person except the lower leg is stretched 4 inches longer. I suspect all dolls are stretched like this to save weight, but it's such a turnoff to see. Even worse, most dolls have the upper leg too short after it is bent 90 degrees or more, it doesn't look human. It could be that the hinge axis of the hip joint is poorly located. Many times the upper leg looks too short even when standing and the lower leg looks too long. Our brains are very much designed to be attracted to humans with specific proportions and ratios. Varying some of these ratios in the face or body by small amounts creates something creepy that is not at all attractive.

Aside from this leg ratio problem the XYColo doll looks nice.

Another horrible turnoff in other dolls is the misshaped bubble butt that develops when the legs are bent, most notable in the doggy position.
Most of the doll heads out there are cute, but not at all sexually attractive because the jawline and other proportions are doll like not human.

I'm hopefully these problems are resolved with the new Exdoll 3D scanned Clones of real girls. Coordinate measuring equipment has been available for decades, so I'm not sure why doll manufactures are trying to sculpt dolls out of clay. Many of the dolls out there look like they were sculpted by a couple of drunk teenagers who never saw a real woman.

Yes I totally agree. I had my first silicone doll back in 2008 and in 12 years there hasn’t been much progress in that time. Still a lot of dolls with sausage fingers and feet as an afterthought. Gynoid bodies look in proportion and true to life wouldn’t you say? Most heads still look cartoonish but Starpery are upping the game a bit with some quite real looking faces, although the industry could benefit from standardization of movable jaws in all the heads.

I always look at pics of the legs to see how the lengths of the upper and lower compare. I think that XYcolo are better than many in this respect and some photos can make the lower legs look longer than they actually are due to the angle the photo is taken from and the lens used.

I also look for a realistic hip to waist ratio. Fantasy birds with exaggeratedly wide hips and narrow waists are a nightmare to dress apart from anything else.

PDutus - very helpful post.

Actually in real life this doll is well proportioned and doesn't have the leg length problem percieved.

Being a non-standing version I have been unable to take vertical photos but in the video review I did stand her, damaging her feet, to weigh her so you'll get a better perspective from there.
