New Classification System for Manufacturers and Vendors

We are currently implementing a revised classification system at TDF to accommodate evolving business practices. We have essentially separated Physical manufacturing from contract manufacturing. We think the changes speak for themselves. We also are merging the over and under $4000 Categories and placing Europe with the Americas because they more closely align with the 'Western' doll maker business models.

Manufacturer : A manufacturer is a business that both owns the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of the product and does the greater percentage of the physical manufacturing (minimum 51%) of their own designed product. A manufacturer who uses a dedicated sales website separate from their manufacture website, can arrange to have two links below their banner if they prefer not to have a separate vendor listing for their store. Please note in this case the store can only promote and sell the manufacturer's own brands.
制造商是一家既拥有产品的知识产权（IPR）又拥有自己生产制造产品的实体企业， 其中自己生产设计的产品不能低于51%。 如果制造商拥有自己的专业的网页，并自主（不用销售商）进行销售的话， 在公司的广告横条上可以有两个链接，一个是本企业的链接，另外一个是其公司品牌的链接 这个链接只能销售100%由本企业生产和设计的产品）。请注意在这种情况下，厂商只能在自己的网店促销和销售制造商自己的品牌。
Original Design Manufacturer (ODM): The ODM must own the Intellectual Property Rights for the doll which includes both outer cast body and skeleton as a whole. The product can be contracted to be built by any TDF recognized manufacturer. An ODM who uses a dedicated sales website separate from their manufacture website, can arrange to have two links below their banner if they prefer not to have a separate vendor listing for their store. Please note in this case the store can only promote and sell the ODM's own brands.
原创设计制造商（ODM）：ODM制造商必须拥有娃娃的设计知识产权，以及磨具和内部构件。此类产品只能由在TDF上注册的生产商签约制造生产。如果制造商拥有自己的专业的网页，并自主（不用销售商）进行销售的话， 在公司的广告横条上可以有两个链接，一个是本企业的链接，另外一个是其公司品牌的链接 这个链接只能销售100%由本企业设计的产品。请注意在这种情况下，厂商只能在自己的网店促销和销售原创制造商自己的品牌。
Vendor: Any business that sells one or more brands of products to which they do not hold the IPR.
