Being unable to find a life size Anime character i decided to create my own. This is Aiko, i got her in white so the figure can glow under coloured lighting. For buyers of mannequins be aware that she stands over 6ft in height in heels. Box dimensions 114 x 44 x 38cm which is relatively small as she comes in parts. Gross weight 8kg this includes the glass base and metal foot stand. Her face is interchangeable and fully customizeable with a little imagination. This is the female one, i also have two android faces. The body pose is fixed, However i have another body with a different pose. The body is virtually indestructible and the package comes with a chip paint and gloves. The body parts are very light and assembling her is quick and easy. Because she is in parts storage and movement is easy.

As a display Aiko's colourful cartoon style appearance is certainly a hit with the kids and females who enjoy dressing her in cosplay character clothing. So whether you want to create an Anime or a Manga doll like figure it is certainly possible with a mannequin.

That's a good looking mannequin... But please change your font color. I cant read what you're saying in the first post. :p

I tried before but some how the post is locked into those colours.

I decided to repost my original comments above as I didn't realise the colours would be unreadable on certain backgrounds as I was using a darker theme.. So here it is again.

Not bad, Joe; this sentiment coming from a non-mannequin guy.

On a side note, I do own a mannequin that my wife and I use for modeling sculpts and the like. She's also used as a household decoration. I've thought about converting her . . . with the caveat that I substitute a new model in her place. Never say never, right? Anyway, nice work. She's a beauty!

Whenever you're in this situation, just press Ctrl-A to select all the text and it'll change to something a lot more readable. In my case - white on dark blue.
