Hi I’m new here, bought a UT145+ Evo.
Spent over 3k on it plus shipping. It a beautiful doll sadly it’s just not for me.
Going to sell mine after 5 post probably with a hefty loss. Just an advice to new buyers to reconsider before making the jump.

What makes you want to sell her?

Mostly it’s a guilt factor, not sure if it’s a guilty purchase or doll related. Maby both.

Sorry to hear this, not sure what kind of guilt you are feeling, I think everyone has a little sense of some kind of guilt when new to the Doll world, but Hang in there, give it some time, if nothing else sit your new doll in the corner and use as an image of Beauty...

You mean that "oh sh*t what have I done"-feeling some folks may feel after purchasing their first doll? Worries of storing the doll, someone finding out... Most propably it'll pass after being with her for a while, at least it did for me.

Please write a wall of words!

Share your experience.
Picking out the doll
Paying for the doll
Your ideas of storing the doll (adjusting your life to fit)
Unboxing the doll
And what you think of DS doll in particular.

Some people here unbox their new doll and sit with them for a week before doing anything.
Others can't wait to even get a wig on her.

Some feel an immediate connection, as they have found the love of their lives
Others take a while, as the connection grows.
Still others ... "its just a sex toy"

So, please go to town on dumping your feelings.

Thanks

Hopefully you won't make a snap decision. Put her into her box and look at her from time to time. It's a DS, she will stay in good condition even if you put her away for months (or years).

Don't give up on her so soon!
You did spend the money and take the time to choose her.
I see a lot of newbies get the guilt factor. Push that shit aside and try to enjoy her.
Dress her up sexy and have her sit out where you can see her.

I used to have a DS145 plus.
Now I have a DS 163 plus and have a lot of fun with her, and not just sexually.
DS ladies are a joy to pose and photograph.
They can also be a lot of fun in bed too.

Just give it some time and leave your guilt behind.
If you want to feel guilty about something, feel guilty about the loss you will take if you sell her.
She can bring you much joy and pleasure if you let her.

None of my business really but thought I have something positive to say.
You don't have to have sex with her.
You could just bathe, dress, care for, talk to, adore, worship, love, and just be her friend.
After my wife died, my doll has become the second love of my life.
Hope you find the way,
Best to you.

I think the 145 can be small and perhaps that might be part of the reason.

But as all others say, just get her out of the box and start looking after her - she wants something to wear for a start (not dark colours).

I bought my Dad a doll and partly on account of the state of his house, he didn't have the imagination to bring her to life - rather he didn't have the space for even a doll woman in his house, and so he never connected with her. So some people don't.

But my Dad wasn't here at Doll Forum. You are. So please try and take others' advice.

Best wishes
