Even more so, since this was(to my knowledge) never discussed on this forum until Anikisan noticed it on his 153 in another thread.

Yes - I recognise the photo as from my video.

However a mark on the head such as this is not a fault. The 153 doll will be smaller scale and as a result may require different manufacturing configurations and considerations which may not apply to the larger scale body and head.

This is the very reason that people new to dolls doing reviews may well not have perspectives across the board whereas my reviews are in the context of knowing and understanding the norm among a large range of dolls.

I can confirm that the cutoff on the head is very common on silicone dolls. It's not a flaw.
Here is a picture of two silicone heads, the tanned head is the Xycolo Vala head.

The seam line is in front of the vagina.
So both vagina and anus are in the back part of the mold.

Apologies Harem for hijacking your thread, but in an effort to but the head "defect" thing to rest, below is a picture of my 9 silicone heads from 4 different manufacturers. They all have a repair spot on them. I don't know much about doll manufacturing but I assume some type of rod is necessary to hold the skull in place while the head is in the mold. Once the head is removed from the mold, the rod is removed and the hole must be repaired. Silicone doll's bodies have similar, though smaller, repair spots where rods were inserted to hold the skeleton in place in the mold.

My Sino head is the only one that is a bit different. She has a repair spot but it is on the back of the head rather than the top.

I expect this isn't mentioned much because most doll owners think nothing of it, especially since the head is usually covered with a wig. After reading anikisan's post, I had to check my doll heads to see if they had a similar spot because, with the exception of my DS heads, these spots had never really registered with me before.

Here's the unmolding of a TPE doll

and you can see what that brand copes with the top of the head . . . Whilst a different brand, it's not in competition with XYcolo - in my opinion nowhere near and TPE rather than silicone.

Of all the clutch of new dolls I'm currently seeing XYcolo is quite a leap ahead in many respects and qualifies for DOTY - Doll Of The Year.

You did a superb job. Thank you for the video review. Your video helps a lot to the new buyers who are interested in XYcolo Doll.

Regarding with the questions of "elbow joint" you mentioned, we should admit that the tightness of joints now is one of our weakness. We have options for customer to choose" tight/ very tight/ loose" joints, however we have no scale label to visualize the tightness to customers.

Normally, for photography, we suggest the "tight or very tight" joints, since it can hold onto one posture longer; just for sex, loose joints are better to handle.

Thank you for pointing this out, we are trying to find ways to improve that.
