We had a lot of fun hosting the challenge for just the second time. This one should be a lot easier now that the poll maker was updated by Sofos! We had to do our first one "old school"!
We've got a busy time of the year coming up with my favorite holiday just around the corner (Halloween) and of course Yumie is a big Christmas nut and I'm sure that will be here before we know it!
The cabin should get a few more updates before then as well. The main living space is now about 90% done so we'll have a few more places to take photos without the "unfinished" look of our house.

Thanks hieligekoe! I'm really not very good at pictures in low lighting! I need some more practice for sure, I think I took about 30 photos before I was finally satisfied with a couple.
They always seem to come out too grainy in low light!

Thanks Big Easy! It certainly is my favorite time of the year. Yumie's favorite it just around the corner! Already caught her snooping through my Amazon acct looking for Christmas gifts!

Thanks Flyer! And almost that time! Only 6 more work days till I'm on vacation... Hopefully the weather holds up but it's looking colder than normal with rain

Guess I'll just spend it with Yumie if it's going to do that! She won't mind if I spend some of my vacation funds on her instead of the vacation

I said maybe we should wait until after Thanksgiving....
So we compromised and we put the Christmas tree up today

Well, after a fun couple of days playing with all the power tools and making a mess again, we finally have a completed hand rail with balusters installed in our cabin.
Yumie definitely approves! We are getting closer to starting work on the bathroom as we just have a little bit to finish up in the main living areas.
Her she is enjoying the view (or is it me enjoying the view?).
