Jarliet TPE is very nice quality!

I just recently did a minor repair on my 151 Emma’s anus and it went very well.
Not once did I have a problem with the TPE flowing together, and I also didn’t get any crusting when doing a final hot air reflow.
Both of which happens almost always with inferior blends.
This went so easy it was actually a pleasure to do!
The reason it tore in the first place was my fault, not the doll’s BTW.
Good stuff!
I should be able to keep her in tip top shape very easily.

Looks almost like new. I probably would not have suspected anything from a few feet away. Any before pics?

Once it’s powdered you can’t tell at all.
Sorry I didn’t take any pre-op pictures.
It had a fissure about a half inch long at about one o clock, and another about a quarter inch at around seven o clock.

No problem,
I used a 12 watt Weller soldering iron model sp-12.

This is the one I have and it works great! It is also advisable to wear a cartridge mask to avoid inhaling the smoke. :uhoh:

Yes, practice is what is key here.
Start on something small and cheap.
Just like using glue, it can cause more damage if improperly done.
Like heating an area under stress will cause it to rip open, so be careful.
It’s a lot like melting a candle and fixing it with localized heat source.

Thanks

Just recently bought a doll, and for first time, the manufacturer, without cost, decided to include on the box about 500-700gr of spare tpe in few blocks!! I am lucky to be able to practice on that!!

Not in a hurry for a repair on any of my ladies , but better start practicing for when the moment comes, be ready

I really like when they do that, it is usually from the sprue or excess from when they poured the mold so it is the exact color and blend.

Well.... Abour the exact color, i wasnt that lucky tho

Doll orfered is tan and those rests received are light tan / natural

At least they were free!! Will use it for practice with for example an insert, and when i learn, i should order tpe of the same exact colour
