ZELEX 175cm EXP skeleton review

In the following photos, we try to test the added new joints from the EXP skeleton.

1) The ball joint neck is an extra joint compared with the previous EVO version.
2) The shoulder extra joint. It not only allows the shoulder to move up and down but also to move front and back.

2) We move the shoulders toward the front, it is not obvious in the photo, but we can still see it. We need to find a good posture to show this feature properly in the future.

Very beautiful doll!
I think that her silhouette is very natural, the sculpt of the hips and belly is particularly successful. A beautiful tall model (and 40 kg for a doll of this size with realistic shoulders, waist and hips seems reasonable to me).

I caught myself dreaming that Zelex would offer a version reduced to 160 cm.
160 cm = 91.4% of 175 cm
91.4 x 91.4 x 91.4 (height by width by depth) = 76.37% of volume.
40kg X 0.7637 = 30.55kg
Zelex could even slightly change the proportions by reducing the legs/torso ratio as is often the case with smaller girls, while remaining at a reasonable weight of 32-33 kg even without innovating in terms of weight reduction techniques.
It would be a great way to renew their range of medium-sized dolls (Zelex, if you read us... ).

I trust you to take full advantage of the possibilities of the new skeleton for the poses. Being able to vary the movements of the head even more seems particularly interesting to me.

Very beautiful doll!

Thanks 4891d, agree with you, the doll is amazing. The 175cm seems to have more definition on the body too.
I think they are from the 3D human scan, hence, all proportions seem correct to me.

Without the ball-jointed wrist, the hands can only move up and down, now it can move side to side too.
The ball-jointed wrist would certainly help with photos. It does offer more degree of freedom.

Sunshine is certainly beautiful and a fitting name for a work of art such as she is I guess I just have summer on the brain because it has finally arrived here in California for Evie and me

Seeing and knowing a little more about her everyday is such a fun yet informative way for all of us to explore this new body, EXP skeleton and this new ROS head of Zelex. (I prefer to use ROS as in "Real Oral Structure", including movable jaw). Thank you so much for doing this!!

I have a suggestion if you don't mind. I believe most people who are interested in this new 175 body would also be interested in the 170 body. Perhaps they (myself included ) could be indecisive between those two amazing bodies. If it's okay with you, I hope to see you comparing and commenting on those two bodies sometimes. Thanks a lot!!

the two top sellers for Zelex at this time..

What Zelex needs to come up with next is like a 150 ish or so killer body that is
also modeled after a real woman and then Zelex should have a few really great
high end body types to satisfy a nice range of people.

The weight reduction on the 170 I have works great and if they continue to improve
on there weight reduction and release newer models like these that are modeled
after real human bodies and include there weight reduction I feel they will be right
up there with some of the other top brands on the market..

Zelex is a great brand right now in the market and every new model they release
seems to be more and more realistic .

Thanks Snowy Tabbert, yes, the EXP skeleton is totally awesome for photographers. I like the 170cm a lot in the past, it is very balanced. I need to spend more time with the 175cm though. Both are stunning. 175cm is a true supermodel. Maybe when everything settling down, and I will just do a side by side of 170 and 175

Thanks john1972, so true, both 170 and 175 are human 3D scan, all look really good. Maybe I should try the weight reduction version too, so I understand how effective that is.

I am not sure I would be into 150 or smaller dolls, I found shopping for dresses for them is not easy.

Long indeed. But well proportioned. There's none of the artificiality of dolls whose legs you could tell had been lengthened to save weight. Here, the rendering is natural, a type of physique that can be admired on the street (my Paris area is a den of pretty girls, both Parisian and tourist: a veritable open-air art gallery ).
