Skin Samples?

Is it possible to order some silicone samples with different skin tones to get a better understanding how the final doll would look like? It's difficult to judge from pictures alone since the lightnig has a huge effect how a doll look on screen.
If yes, how and who could be the order placed?

You can contact irontech for factory photos to see what they really look like vs dolled up pictures. It is surprisingly close nowadays especially the faces

I am not sure about that. I follow the doll world for more than 20 years, owning a Realdoll be myself and lightnig, Computer settings etc. can have a huge impact how skin turns out. IMHO each manufacturer should be able to supply interested buyers with some testsamples.....

Should contact the factory directly, or a few of your favorite dealers.
They will probably charge you for the samples. Ask around to get the best price.

It's called a test piece.
I see that Irontech sells them for $35 a piece TPE and $38 a piece silicone.
That's pretty expensive...
They are a must have for color matching with hybrid dolls or dolls from other manufacturers.

The testsamples i got didnt work for me in the end. Thats because IT finishes their Dolls with sprayed on Body Make-up. Natural is way to white in its Natural Form and the Tan*s have to much yellow imho. The endresult with sprayed on Body Make-up Looks realy good but i am affraid of rubbing off These Details in high Stress era will leave a base Skin Color i didnt like and wont Match the other parts of the doll….
So personaly i will Shop with a different Brand which have through to through Coloration of their silicone and less sprayed on Make-up. I am sorry about that…
