Can you Put the XYcolo head on a stand?

I bought a couple head stands and dust covers for my XYcolo heads. My only problem is the head to body connectors. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to remove those and there's something I can screw a bolt into underneath.
I rather ask then do it and mess something up.
