Chun Li is/was a Fornite skin. Maybe they want that version of her.

As far as a doll based on a video game, I personally prefer Cammy (not the Funwest one) or maybe Juri.

Oh and also Trish from Devil May Cry.

Heh, I even put in the tiny text because I thought I'd get a response that she's in Fortnite. Yeah I'm aware shes a skin in Fortnite. It was a dig at the "youth of today" for not respecting the real sources.

Anyway, when are we getting Sonic and Mario dolls? They're in the top 10 seaches

Yes I'm being ridiculously sarcastic. Dolls aren't supposed to look like video game characters, and video game characters aren't supposed to be sexy in my humble opinion.
Any doll I want is going to look like a normal human female.

I'm very into Chun Li and Cammy but they'd have to have super muscular thighs like in street fighter, not the smoothened out version common to fortnite skins. I've posted these pictures before on other boards, but think bodybuilder like Yuan Herong
My personal dream dolls are a similarly muscular but thicker waisted build with a 185cm/6'1+ (let me dream) Karlach from Baldurs Gate
and also, on the male character side, Hanzo from Overwatch. Basically my ride or die man even after I stopped playing the game he's from. I'm devoted to him. Husband material.

I prefer more realistic dolls, but I might make an exception for the Hoyoverse girls.

The problem for me with the idea of dolls based on video game (or cartoon/anime) characters is that they're already an abstraction or interpretation of a human form. So when you make a doll of them you're then going two steps removed from a human form. It's like a fake of something that's already fake. And it makes the Fortnite version of Chun Li even worse since she'd be a fake of a fake of a fake.

If it floats your boat then more power to you. But it always seemed extra weird to me. Probably why I don't really like any of the Elsa Babes dolls.

Even the realist of sex dolls look fake. And most certainly are fakes. They're dolls. Imo, none of them look like real women. Never have. Not even close. So instead of challenging the uncanny valley, lean into the unnatural. There-in-by achieving something somewhat believable.

But that's exactly the problem, they're already one step removed from being real. So they're a fake or a copy (to be more polite). When you already have something that's one step removed from real (a game character) then making a doll of it just makes it one step worse IMO.

There are a few decent looking game based dolls around, but they look like they're based on a person not a game character (the couple Witcher knockoffs for example).

The product being a doll isn't necessarily the issue. I know I'm going to rustle some feathers on this one - but that's a Zelex issue. Gamelady dolls look terrible. Especially their necks. There are other manufacturers who've done much better.
