It seems to me at the moment that Zelex has some quality problems, broken shinbone, then one SLE where the filling is oozing out, ball joints that jump out of the holder, joints that become loose very quickly, etc.

I would have liked to order a 175 but at the moment I'm really not sure if that's a good idea anymore

Hi,
IMHO, what counts alot more is how they handle the issue.
Do you really thing they put her in the box with a broken shin bone.
I bet you the box got dropped on the end where her feet were.
My customer is getting a new body.
They stand behind their product and if I could carry only one silicone doll maker, it would be them.

I second what Booty Call Dolls suggested.

I handle all TDF members' issues in the TDF ZELEX forum, I have first-hand information, ZELEX customer service is second to none even though sometimes it is not their fault. And customers are happy, if anyone saw those threads disappear, it is TDF members DM me requesting the threads to be removed. They were so happy with the solution ZELEX offered them. Some even ordered another doll immediately simply because they were so confident about the company.

Moreover, we need to count the percentage %, not the actual number of cases. For example, a doll maker sold 2000 dolls in a month with 3 issues (0.15%), it is better than another doll maker sold 100 dolls with 2 issues (2%).

I wish every other company could stand behind their products like ZELEX, then happy families everywhere

Zelex customer here confirming that what the experienced vendor and the Zelex forum moderator say is all true. Zelex has a well deserved reputation for being awesome.

Hey man hope all is well for you..
So back in umm around October I got my 175 and she has the newer skeleton as well and I can tell you she is built very well
and holding up like a tank ..
If I could swap out my older bodies for the newer bodies and skeletons I would in a heart beat..
She is very sturdy and the joints are tight and firm.
I do not forsee any problems with her in the near future..
Zelex nailed it with mine and she is a great girl..
She was in the November Cover Doll Magazine if you want to check out the photos..
I am editing some photos of her right now from a shoot I did with her today..
Check out my main thread or the photo only threads in my signature to see all of the photos I have done with all of my Zelex girls ..
Also I did reviews of each of them as well and you can find those in my signature too.

I just hope that if you get one you take some photos of her and share them here on the forum with us

What timing for this post to pop up the list of “All Recent Posts” … unfortunately, I’ve just added to the “ball joints that jump out of the holder” crowd!
After another fun photoshoot last night, as I was putting Mariana away and straightening up her hand, I heard that dreaded “pop”, follow by the flopping of her hand ;(
The poor girl’s hand just pop out of the socket (or however it’s connected under!).
Anyhow, as saddened as I am, I not frustrated (yet) as I have confidence in my vendor and Zelex that Mariana will be looked after!
And I would still highly recommend Zelex in a heartbeat! Their dolls are beautiful and in general quality is great!

I also echo what others have said. Zelex's customer service is, bar none, the best in the industry. I've had issues in the past, and they promptly reached out and help take care of me, even when my vendor would not.

The quality of my 172E seems to be very good. I initially found the material to be a bit firm, but this is largely due to how cold I keep my bedroom. The joints are tight, but easy enough to move without fear of causing damage. The weight at 39KG is quite manageable even when compared to other heavy dolls of mine. I did cause a very small indent, and pinched a very small piece of the labia off but these were my fault. The makeup seems durable and should last as it has with every other doll of mine. Likewise, the pigmented silicone was the main selling point for me. I do prefer a shorter doll (148-160cm) but that's on me too. You'll always have a few exceptions with people that have unfortunate issues, but largely it looks like Zelex is a good choice.

Looking at the history on this forum, it does seem like Zelex has pretty constant issues with skeletons breaking with their Inspiration line.

When straightening up her hand, as the other joints are reasonably tight, we might need to hold the arm higher than the joints to apply forces. Potentially if applying force at the red arrow, it would put too much force on the hand ball joint.

I have an SLE girl and she is AMAZING! She is perfect in every way. And I would agree with the others- Zelex customer service is the best out there. Even if by chance you did have a problem, Zelex would be there to make it right no matter what. I'm a new zelex owner, but a customer for life because of their amazing customer service after the purchase. It's just a bonus that their dolls are breathtakingly beautiful.
I would also add that the moderators here at TDF are amazing as well. If you have any issues, it's been my experience that the moderators are really fast at identifying issues and resolving those issues. I am so thankful I found this forum before making my purchase. You guys are just awesome!

I believe they would, sure. That's just my opinion, of course. I can say that when I had a minor issue on my purchase, Zelex contacted me after seeing my post within about 9 hours and offered me a resolution that I was more than happy with. I was going to contact them, but they reached out to me before I even had the chance. And TDF moderator KKFun reached out to me within a few hours to offer support and to tell me that Zelex would be in touch with me. So between the amazing staff here at TDF and Zelex's promptness and the importance they place on customer satisfaction, you honestly can't go wrong with Zelex in my opinion.
