She definitely has got that “certain something”. Also she reminds me on someone, but I have got no idea on whom. An effect similar to what I felt when I visited an Amedeo Modigliani exhibition on Sunday as I watched his paintings of ladies.

Looks like my latest post about her new outfit disappeared? Weird. I'll repost later

Thank you! She took about 3.5 months from start to finish, if you read the start of my post I give more details

Just great! I love the leopard pattern pants. When I was a teenager girls with a rock/punkrock attitude used to wear them. Also striped ones. The collar fits that looks very nicely too!

I tried tying her hair back for it, and I think I'm going to keep it like that, it's a lot more convenient when she's lying in bed.

Of course, can't try on a new outfit without the obligatory tit pic.

I can't edit my original post to update it with this info, but after trying on more clothes I think the best sizing is AU 10-12 for bottoms. Tops I'm not sure about yet, but it's definitely smaller, probably 8-10. I'm nervous about ordering lingerie sets online because of this - if order based on her bust size the bottoms could be too small, and if I order based on her hip size the tops could be too large. Arghh!

Lots of updates in doll world.

Yesterday I got some acrylic paints to repair the damage to her nose. I am a bit worried about the durability of the face in general - I've noticed minor scratches and areas of wear in other parts as well, despite her face only ever touching soft pillows and not for very long.
It took a few attempts to match the color (the paints dry darker) but I'm pretty happy with the result. These paints are intended for painting earthenware I believe, and dry with a very rough gritty texture, but brushing it lightly with a clean dry brush once it's dry seems to remove most of the grit. Now you can barely tell any repairs were ever done. It remains to be seen whether this paint wears off over time as well.

Today was an exciting day as I received a number of fashion items for Laurel that I've been waiting on. Most notably her piercings. I almost gave up trying to insert them as using a regular needle wasn't making a big enough hole, but then I managed to find a larger, plastic needle in my sewing kit and that did the trick.
Unfortunately, I was only able to pierce one of her nipples as the second piece of jewelry in my order was faulty. Also, I had to insert the piercing "behind" the nipple rather than through it, which has distorted the shape slightly. I have placed an order for a second set of barbels that are curved, I'm hoping the curved variety with reduce this issue.
The belly button piercing was perfect with no problems. It's just through the outer fabric, though. Hopefully it doesn't cause any tears over time. So far the fabric seems very durable and resistant to holes (which was actually quite a problem when I was trying to pierce it using a needle).

Good that you managed to get feasible paint for repair works. Her beautiful face deserves to be treated careful and tenderly.
