No problem Karrot, Kayla is a spoiled high-maintenance kinda girl, it's hard to please her, but I love her none-the-less.

Great post idea! Struggled with the problem of "bed hair" and the inevitable hours spent untangling.

Very helpful and many good tips , thanks.

That's a great tutorial!
Well explained with informative text and photos, I bookmarked it as it's a helpful addition to one of the most problematic thing on our dolls: their wigs and the tangled hair.
But: take a closer look to real girls and their hair and you will find that some of them too aren't perfectly maintained so don't worry about your doll as they deal with an additional problem, dust and static.

Thanks Karrot for all the time you took to create this helpful topic and for sharing it with us.

After struggling with Azures tangled wigs I finally found a brush that works:

So far I've only used it a couple of times and it works great on bed hair.

I got mine from the online retailer Zulily, where I get most of Azure cloths.

That brush looks a lot like the Tangle Teezer I use: http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 59#p523659
It works absolutely great.

Are there any alternatives to wig fiber oil? The cosplay crowd uses silicone spray to keep long or curly wigs silky, shiny and free of tangles, what kind of silicone spray could be used for this and where could I get it? (like supermarket pharmacies, drugstores, etc.). Also are there certain oils for RG hair that can be used safely in a Teddybabe wig?

Reason I'm asking is I have a Deluxe Jasmine on order and want to keep her hair nice while being able to sleep with her in bed & not have to invest in a bedtime wig

I think you already know more about Silicone spray than I do, but one thought springs to mind : What would it do to plush? I know that the fibre oil dont damage or clog up the tebby babe plush from experience, I would have thought the tackiness of a silicon spray will.
