Thats brilliant. Did you ever consider making her full possible?

Thanks gyxile, and welcome to the forum BTW!

I'm not sure what you mean. Did you mean fully posable?
I've given thought to giving her magnetic shoulder joints so her arms can be moved, and maybe even a neck joint so her head could turn, but I think making her 100% fully posable wouldn't be worth the expense and effort. There comes a point where it just makes more sense to buy a doll if you want full posability.

I messaged you on another topic and wound up here! AMAZING work on this! I would be highly interested in thr adapter for this and the eye movements as well, could the mount for the eyes be adapted to hold glass or acrylic eyes? Although I'm quite good at hand painting and veining resin eyes, Artist pencils (prismacolor) are invaluable for adding red veins and extreme iris detail... I would like to do my own take on this mod, seems to have a lot going for her despite the odd leg which is not too bad now that I see here in better pictures then on Mannequin Malls site, they at least show the most angles in their photos, but prices at Roxy are the best I have found so far.

OK FG, your eye unit went out in the mail this morning!
I gave you two sets of eyeballs - one with the original plain iris recess and one with the new magnetic iris design.

:)

Thanks cannot wait to see what I can do with these! Everything should work out fine thanks for the extra set as I was just wondering how I could cast my own eyes for the mount! May order a second unit if this test goes well!

Mannequin Fan,

I'll second the comment about how neat it would be to be your helper. Your projects are a blast to look over.

I know I'll seem like a broken record, but I am curious whether you went ahead with the oral mod. I've fiddled around with the simple circle hole and Fleshlight, but it looks awful, projecting too far out of the face, poor coloration, etc.

you seemed to be onto something that is doable, without requiring casting of a replacement face section. If you've made progress on it, I'd love to learn how this can best be done.

Thanks everyone for your kind words, I really appreciate it. :)
And a big welcome to TDF for TWMQ!

Bobbay,
I think for Fiona I am going to keep her original face. I have a feeling it's going to look a bit weird.
I may try the FL mod with a cheaper MQ head as an experiment first, that way if it goes south I'm not ruining a whole mannequin.

So how is Fiona coming along anyway?

How difficult would it be to modify the eye unit to a different mannequin head?
Can you just scan the new head for the goggle shape then alter the eye spacing then hit print?

Hey RK,
Unfortunately not coming along - she's in her box for the time being.
Been busy with Eva #4 and trying to get Abby farther along.

Fiona's eye unit was really just intended to be a one time mod.
I've been trying to think of a simpler, more universal way to do this that wouldn't involve having to scan the head.
Perhaps a couple of single eye units that would go into 2 simple circular cutouts centered on the pupil. Maybe create them using the Makehuman head and eliminate the movable eyelids. The eyes would still be movable though.
