I hope that there is an update soon and that you've progressed with your doll.
You really have some talent. I am so excited to see what she looks like now!

Well gentlemen, after a very long time and a lot of procrastination, I've finally started the outer skin layer. It's not perfect, there's a few wrinkles and dimples here and there and the feet aren't quite tight enough but I'd say she's looking pretty good so far. I'm really struggling because I want to get the breasts sewn in and see those puppies finally in place but sadly I think that will have to be one of the final steps for the sake of sewing her arm skin and back zipper :/ she looks off without a belly button too haha but that will have to be added at the end too, along with tacking down between her butt cheeks. Thanks again to everyone else whose been keeping up with my project, sorry I'm a little unreliable with the updates!!! Haha

This has to be one of the best home built dolls I've seen yet. Did you happen to keep a pattern of the cut you made to the pillow when you started?

Thanks man! I've always wanted a high end doll but I just can't justify the purchase, personally at least. I'm really hoping when she's done she will be the closest fabric can get to a realdoll. Unfortunately all her pieces have been free-handed and then modified along the way so there's no existing pattern but maybe I can draw up some diagrams for how she's assembled so you guys wanting to make your own doll have a good reference to give it a try. The basic pieces aren't anything crazy, but there was a lot of hand sewing to secure everything together and take spots in here and there, especially around her waste and down her butt cheeks. I need to do her hands next, so hopefully she will have finished arms and I can finish up her body skin and get her breasts sewn in within the next few weeks. I need to patch up the mouth tunnel in her head with aquaseal too but I've been putting that off as long as possible haha

Wow, great work! I'm building a doll myself and this is very inspiring. I can't wait to see what see looks like with the breasts attached. I have to ask; what materials are you using to make the breasts? I've tried a few materials and not having a very satisfying time.

Great work so far. I completed a similar project a few years ago, making a body-pillow doll that has been keeping me warm at night ever since. Loving how THICC yours' thighs are too, I'd probably go back and put some more thickness into my doll's thighs and bum if I weren't so lazy now she's been built.

Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing her finished.

Unfortunately this project has been scrapped. Looking back I am very upset I did not see this project to the end, she would have been a masterpiece of fabric doll building. I did remove her arms and lower legs and converted her into a very beautiful and very well functioning hip toy I will be selling soon, as soon as I figure out the best way to go about it considering she is one of a kind and extremely life like, functional, and durable.
