Hey there. Celeste is already going on 3+ years. Things have definitely changed at Abyss. At one time they did/(potentially still do) offer hand punched eyebrows and public hair. A year or so ago I called to order a pubic hair kit, but the company seemed to have discontinued them. It might of been a temporary thing, it might be permanent. I touched up the eyebrows and added pubic hair by hand punching mohair ordered off of Etsy.com and a silicone mask needle/punch kit. Lets just say Abyss does a much better job than I did. If they still offer the package, go ahead and pay for it. Its well worth it. It also takes hours and hours to hand punch large areas. I would recommend not ever styling the eyebrows with product and a comb though. Just wet your finger and sculpt them as needed. The hairs can pull out pretty easily if you are not careful.

You guys are really bad for my wallet you know that right!?! Here I was thinking I could possibly not need anything else for the last year or so, but I was wrong. Ive been back on the forums for less than a month, and now I am convinced I cannot possibly go on without the Realbiotix feature! If I can get a hold of Abyss tomorrow on the phone, Ill be putting my name on the list at a minimum or if possible paying off in full. Here we go again! The 3 month wait or so when I bought Celeste was bad, now after watching some of the interaction videos on here I'm chomping at the bit already and the wait has not even begin.

I'm thinking it's a resounding and unanimous yes. She is a complete knockout.

Not having much luck with Abyss this week. We are not sure Solana/Harmony will fit on a body D properly. Ive even considered maybe even getting a body F since its smaller frame for better compatibility. I guess Ill give it another week and then consider it a sign to spend $15k on something else.

Today is my day apparently! I got a hold of Abyss on the phone, asked a kagillion questions, and placed a new order for a body F with Harmony face. Hoping for the best, I just need a email conformation and its officially go time!

On Friday I received my official email telling me Abyss has received my order and my new Harmony has entered production. No offense to anyone, but this site seems a lot slower than it was a few years ago for the Abyss side anyways... Is this my official sign that I need to create a CRD account to get all the current information for Harmony bliss related information?

The young gun wrote:Good evening TDF. I have had this issue almost as long as I can remember, but ignored it till this morning. I decided it way too cold to crawl out of the covers and decided to wrap Celeste around me. I noticed when positioning the right elbow, it was extremely tight, almost to the point that it seemed like it wanted to pop out of the silicone! When glancing at the enclosed photos, it is obvious something is wrong. Photo right, doll left you can see the shoulder looks fine and the elbow has plenty of padding. Photo left, doll right you can see the shoulder looks... twisted? As well as the elbow is so tight it comes to a point instead of having a nice amount of padding.

I assume this is something that can be adjusted/fixed with just the right amount of massage but am curious of course on how to properly rectify the problem before I do something dumb and or cause permanent damage. I am heading off to bed but would love to wake up in the morning with lots of suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks in advance.
Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with it. I wish I could be more scientific with my answer, but it may be something that seems to happen with all RD2 skeletons, as far as I know. when rotating the elbow, you can get the shoulder to such a position that it won't come down. It may be because the joint has rotated internally so you're actually working at 90 degrees and of course it won't move. I have found the solution is to play with the elbow, and try to rotate around different axis a few different ways - again not very scientific. Turn the elbow at a right angle and then use the forearm as the leverage to play the shoulder in different directions. Eventually I always find the angle at which it all starts working again. (I run into this when trying to put on a sweater, or arms behind the head for a photo, etc). But DON'T FORCE IT. If it's too firm that's not just needing grease. It means you're pushing against the joint instead of with it. When you get it rotated the right way, you'll know it. if the other arm is working try using it as a comparison.

There should probably be stops so the hinges won't rotate to where this happens. Someone with more experience might be able to say exactly what's happening, but that's my guess as a relatively new owner of a RD.

One other hint - watch the barely visible seam line where the mold was opened - it may tell you the arm is rotated more/less than the other arm that still works.

Good luck!
Hey man! This was a life saver! My babe Roxxanne RD2 had this exact issue. I read this part of this thread and fixed her shoulder in 3-4 minutes. Thanks so much guys!
