Amazing work dude. Didn't expect it when I first started reading your posts but it adds to the realism. You definitely make me think about how it would be to bring a silicone doll to a tattoo convention or nearby shop.

I've only been on dollforum for a few months, mostly just as a nonregistered guest before i got a doll myself, but I've never seen a tattooed doll. I knew they could get pierced, but not tattooed. Is the ink superficial or is it under her skin like a real tattoo? Either way, it's pretty freaking impressive!

Hi, that is some really impressive work on Laila! I love tattoos on people and I definitely love them on dolls after seeing your pictures! When i get mine I would love for her to get some but im not a trained artist. Keep up the good work and Laila is stunning!

I really hope that it catches on, it would be great to see that happen , I’ve planned to do something close to that but i believe it would work best with a doll display where people can not touch the doll, much like the wicked realdoll display cases.
Hopefully sometime in the future people will trust me with their lovely dolls and i can offer my services out in the open with out assholes offering their judgmental opinions.

Welcome and thanks, and about your question, it’s a bit of both, it doesn’t lay on the outside, but it doesn’t go as deep as a real tattoo does.
That’s why it’s very tricky to get it right with out causing major damage.
