Rapunzel looks amazing!

Who is the character above the woman in braids from "Frozen"?

I'd much rather see a head or two sculpted after the animated versions. Disney seem to use pretty much the same head for most characters, so you'd just have to change the wig when switching characters :D I love those big eyes!

6YE have done something very similar to one of their heads for their minidoll. I ordered one of these from you guys last week, so there will be a review of her here soon ;) I just wish we could see more of these for the big dolls too!

Gonna have to agree.

If you want to turn your doll into whomever, it's really costume play.

Since that is so, is it worth going through the motions?

Yes it is.

Why not a stickied forum posts and threads for costumes, wigs, outfits, jewelry, etc about how to make your own version of a licenced character, unless that is really going to bring a ban hammer down or attention from who owns that particular IP.

I saw here on the forum someone is selling a Wonder Woman dressed up doll, so I don't see why it'd be a problem if this became official.

Yes! Yes please! Fantasies made real is a big part of what dolls are for.

Not sure about that - I'd not to have sex with a copy of Snow White as that'd spoil the fairytales.

I wish that we don't spoil these iconic cartoon characters.

I'm a big Disney fan and if a manufacturer were willing to make princess heads available I'd be all on board. The posted sketches seem to be a good amalgamation of animated and realistic.

A lot of my interest in dolls involves the freedom to roleplay. I've tinkered with potential head selections based off of how compatible they'd be with character scenarios. While it's nice to have the option to cosplay a doll with the current head selections, it's more satisfying to get something closer to the mark.

Huh? Wat?

Spoil?

What are you talking about?

These characters, plots, and movies are made DIRECTLY AND SPECIFICALLY to part your money from your wallet. From the movie, to tv, to marketing, to products, to games, to whatever else they'll SELL YOU.

That's all Disney exists for, this is not an altrustic organization. It wants and needs you to come up off that cash for them to keep on keeping on.

Disney characters are the bigger persons of Ill repute than the ones who stand on the corner. It's just the latter is honest about it. And the latter don't market to children, either.

A mermaid doll; that cracks me up. She better have a great downward oral cavity! I do agree though with the Jasmine head. More Indian, more Philippina, more American Indian, MORE!

I think it would be pretty cool but my CeCe (head #58) has her Elsa costume which she looks really great in.

If you made the more cartoon like then it would look weird dressing her in other clothes lol but if the faces were modeled after the pics in the few post then the possibilities are endless.

maybe just me but id love to see a direction for some more anime like characters. the few anime style dolls that there are are the mini versions that are a crap shoot in some countries as the size is a large factor for import for child like appearances. the first doll that i just had to have is one that i cant get in Australia. i just love this face and would definitely buy heads/bodies that catered less on realism and more on anime/fantasy

How about a toonish / comic doll like a drawn disney model and not realistic?

Ariel seems good ;)

In addition to the last,

Sili Doll has the market covered with Kate and Elsa from Frozen, with the Suki doll line,

A Jasmine is pretty much done with the new YL Dolls Rania (who can also probably do Pochohontas too with some styling changes)

Milan has also been done by Dolls Forever...

So you made need to think of some other Princesses..and Princess Leia would be popular.
