This is a real quick project. From conceive, material sourcing and construction, just about one week. And my DS 100 Eva can stand!!

Impressive... very professional looking! Be prepared for others to want you to start making them! Who knows, you might be on to a TDF cottage business like MannequinFan.

That would damage the skeleton, and probably won't allow her to hold her pose if you want to take photos.

Okay guy, as per LoneRanger's request, I'm preparing to make a few more. Will need to do some calculation of the cost though.

Here is the stand on it's own.

Thanks everyone. Working so far so good for me. Just wish that it is easier to attach and detach form the doll. Probably can't be done...

Just grabbing at straws, but is there any way you could use a strong magnetic attachment for the bolt to the stand?

Thanks a lot.

I wonder if the magnet idea is possible, MannequinFan. Eva is almost 10 kg in weight. It needs a very strong magnet to hold the bolt. But then that would be very difficult to detach her from the stand. If the bolt is actually something like a headphone jack, that might be a good device as a quick release lock.

BTW, this seems to be my first doll related idea that actually works, hehehe.

I've improved the doll stand with a tool cradle attachment. Very handy when you want to attach or detach Eva from to and from the stand.

PCL fittings? Incredidoll uses them for quick release from his doll brackets and stands.
