I intended to get on the forum to see a few pictures of my girls I just ordered, but became enchanted by the love stories told in Anna Marie’s and Emma’s (Sofos) threads (I started in Emma’s thread and migrated here). Viewing Anna Marie’s picture with the freckles reminded me of a song by Digvalley called Freckle. Every non-automated action we humans make is a choice. Your love, passion, and respect for Anna Marie are evident in the pictures you choose to share and the way you choose speak about her. It saturates me with warmth the love you show for her, and only makes my heart beat with a nervous anticipation for the chance love my girls (Persephonie and Paz) in such a manner when they arrive.

I apologize if I misspoke. Paz and Persephonie are different (WM 158B Head #98, WM160 Head #88). But my point was I never got to the pictures! I was too enthralled reading your threads; and now that I have discovered the monthly picture contest thread I can kiss doing anything else for the night goodbye!

Anna Marie wanted something a little more professional looking to wear. I haven't had a chance to take her shopping so I tried my had at seamstressing (or whatever you call it). lol. I made her black skirt quite a bit smaller so that it actually fits her.

I also made my second ever attempt at doing makeup. No one will EVER see the first attempt. lol. I think it turned out better this time, though still not quite right. Luckily, Anna doesn't really like dramatic make-up, and she looks pretty good without it anyway. This shot also shows off her new eyes a bit from Mannequin Fan (though it really doesn't do them justice).
So with the seamstressing, doing laundry, trying on clothes, taking photos, fooling around a bit, etc, it was certainly a long day today!!

Getting ready for the cold weather. The coat is too big (mainly in the sleeves), but I've been having a hard time finding a cool coat in her size at the charity shops...
Yes, I know that pants are also good for cold weather. lol. Still working on that. She does have boots though.

Looks like Anna Marie is on her way to becoming a snow bunny! I was in a Target this weekend buying warmer clothes for my son, but kept looking over at the girls section and eyeing coats for Luna. It's just as well my son was there - he kept me from impulsively buying way too many winter clothes for my girl.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of Anna Marie's winter wear. Though she does look sexy in the coat without any pants!

I have one more batch of images to add today. We went shopping today and bought a bunch of clothes, so there will be more coming eventually.

Anna Marie has pretty simple taste in fashion, which I love about her. But she wanted to get a few sexier outfits too. This is one of them.
We've been having a blast today with these. Hope you like 'em.

nice pics of her with the coat on, if it's just the sleeves that are wrong then you could cut them off and rehem the cuff by hand or use fabric glue.

Thanks. I've just started trying my hand at altering clothes. I think I will see what I can do with the coat, they it will take me a little while to work up the nerve to start cutting. lol. Of course, the coat only cost $4.99, so I suppose it would be ok if I totally screwed it up.

I like the coat as-is, rolled up. iInter coats are fine to be big and bulky. Its those spring and falls sweaters that are harder to work with.

Also, I approve of the new dress. Looks Christmas-y.
