Totally agree. Makeup is REALLY hard to get right.

Yeah, thats right. Could be really difficult sometimes.
But nothing has such an influence on the appearance of the face like the makeup on the lips. Then the eyes, wigs...
We have here some pictures from different folks - same head, but totally different look and appearance. Often because of the lips
For example head#46 can look like a different face due to the makeup


I have used here mostly some matte lipgloss. Very effective and easy to apply + not expensive.

Lip gloss??? I literally thought lip gloss was just stuff that made lips shiny, didnt know it came in colors. Ok, as Yoda would say, "Much to learn, I do have".

How did you get it to look darker around the edge of her lips? Or is that just a property of applying a certain type of lip gloss correctly?

Me too, before I entered the doll world.
Then I saw some YouTube tutorials and was getting enlightened

For the darker edges i used a dark lipliner and then applied the lip gloss
The shiny lip gloss tend to dissolve the colors and can easily smear For example :

Lol. Matte Lip Gloss seems like an oxymoron to me but hey, who knew gals were so complex. Thanks, that's a top tip and I will definitely be purchasing some of that, it adds a level of realism that is outstanding.

In other news, do you have a curly wig similar to the one below? If so I'd love to see Ana with some photos in that if its not too much trouble. Thanks, brother!

I have some curly wigs, but don't know if I could match a similar color and that "extended" amount of curls.
But I will try to find a nice one, which comes close

Yeah she's a cutie, whomever she is. That's going to be the SALEM "look". Big curly hair and big eyes. If you have a darker wig that's fine, just wanted to see the curly look.
