I assume Channel 4 is a UK channel. Is this special being broadcast on Comcast Xfinity, Dish, or DirecTV in the USA?

I have 270 satellite channels to watch. Can't I see this special on one of those channels?
On a side note, I feel I have 270 channels of mostly garbage programming most of the time.

Wow she seriously believes slim/attractive women don't exist outside of porn

Overall I thought it was surprisingly positive for a mainstream piece. I like it that the technology is being developed but I think it still has a very long way to go. The prototype is nowhere near being about to maintain "suspension of disbelief", and I would rather have a doll that doesn't do AI than does it badly, I would end up turning it off.
The anti-doll/robot side was represented, but I think only in token form. The argument that they promote objectification was undercut slightly by the channel scheduling an episode of Naked Attraction straight after the documentary.
I will be making an MP4 of this, although I expect it will be available from the usual eye-patch and parrot sources.

I pretty certiain the people claiming objectification and misogyny have it backwards.

Objectification is treating a person like an object.

What we do is Personification, we treat objects like people. As for Misogyny, well if that means caring for and loving the ladies we see in our girls then I'm a total Misogynist.

Overall a positive piece.

Oh and BTW, now that we can identify as DigiSexuals and RoboSexuals, the luvvies and lefties have to support us and our right to be different. Bet thats a bit of a bitter pill for them to swallow

It is absolutely NOT TRUE. She makes almost makes a few valid points when she speaks publicly... but totally misses the point entirely. Her words and 'argument' is nothing more than poetic word soup with the sole purpose being to invoke an emotional response likely based on gender. I WISH I could put her in a different mindset, but 3rd wave Feminism has destroyed this woman and the education system that used to be in place at well-respected Universities. I don't hate her, I feel pity for her. If I could, I would try to encourage her to take better care of her own body with diet and exercise and seek some psychological help. I wish she could be happy, she looks completely miserable to me. I am angered that she gets so much press just for being such a shit-stirrer.... I could go on a long, long rant about her arguments without violating any rules at all.

The only thing I can make out of that statement is sex dolls are made in images of women that are most likely to be found sexually appealing, therefore, it causes men to only value women as an instrument of sexual pleasure instead of as a whole person. The only thing a doll has to offer is looks, unlike real women. So, she's just assuming all men want is sex with a rare, highly valued female that has hit many lotteries during a very limited period of life within regards to genetics, health, financial stability and fashion sense. She unfortunately may even actually believe that all men really want is pornography and an image of the female form that's most often featured in pornography. That is actually just having a misunderstanding of men, and is not misogyny at all but rather misandry. I think it's entirely possible she has never had a positive and loving relationship with any man, and I question what her father was like, how has she possibly come to these conclusions? A good father will really set the bar for a girl growing up to be able and want to understand her male counterparts. I know for certain her education has failed her. I feel pity for her spending so much of her time and youth pursing a PhD only to end up with an inability to think with logic and reasoning. Universities today discourage free thought and playing the devil's advocate in search of truth and meaning to ourselves, others and the world at large.

That woman is your typical feminazi, completely brainwashed by social media and spurting out the same crap about women being objectified. Best thing to do is flat out ignore her because she is a real life troll and gets off on the attention as she is not getting any from men anymore.

There's always a strong but less than credible backlash here to claims of objectification and "pornographic representation of women." So I will admit that in my case, doll ownership is indeed about objectification and a shallow desire for sexual possession. There now, is that so bad?

In the beginning sure but you'll find many doll owners actually humanizing their dolls and treating them with more respect than actual women. If doll owners just treated there doll like an object, do you think they would go through so much time and effort to buy them clothes, hair, make up and spend time on the couch just watching a film? The word objectification has been used by man hating women for years now to try and play the victim card , like they are being treated with disrespect and that it's a bad thing. Think about this though, if men all around the world stopped looking at women as sexual objects then they wouldn't want to fuck them, in 100 years the world would cease to be and we would all die out.

It is a myth that only men objectify women because it's women who do it to themselves and they have done since the dawn of time. Women use there sexuality to try and get the best man they can who can provide and create a family with strong off spring. They use fake up as I like to call it to deceive the man into believing she is more beautiful than she actually is, go to a night club and you will see women dressing like whores , they go on ridiculous diets to lose a few pounds to the detriment of their health to fit into a wedding dress and there's millions of porn vids out their with very willing women spreading their legs for money.

Women objectify themselves , they always have and they always will, saying that men are the ones who only do it is a shallow lie and is used to once again shame men for looking at women as sexual beings which is perfectly normal.
