Why do people think a $3K doll should look and compare to a $5K+ silicone doll?

As others say I am also happy to see that a big mainstream brand is selling proper full size dolls. I really hope this contributes to a growing market and making dolls more common and acceptable locally. Pipedream has been selling big toys for quite a while now, and since I discovered TPE-dolls 3 years ago I haven't understood why they kept selling those often strange looking blobs of TPE/silicone when there's a proper doll-market booming in Asia. Still haven't seen these dolls listed in any Swedish stores though, but hopefully later this year!

Personally I'm not buying Pipedream stuff again though. Very variating quality in both material and design, they smell bad, and are ridiculously overpriced. This is mainly from my experience with the FuckMyFace and FuckMeSilly toys. The dolls look primitive in their sculpting, and are as expected ridiculously overpriced. I understand their reasoning though, as they kind of have that Apple-status on the mainstream market of sextoys. People who are not aware of the yet superior Asian market will likely rather choose a brand they recognize and pay the extra money for it. I don't mind though as long as they don't negatively affect prices of other dolls. They will probably have to adjust to the rest of the market soon enough, if they want to stay competitive.

It's a 3k doll looking worse than a 2k doll, comparing TPE vs TPE. But who knows, maybe they are robust as tanks compared to the Asian stuff, but I doubt it. Would also be interesting to know if they suffer from the vag-ball design, how thick the finger wires are, what texture they have in cavities, how their oral cavity is designed, and the actual range of motion on the different limbs.

I will agree there are probably better dolls for a better price. It is what it is. Savvy buyers need to shop around. If this doll doesn't sell well after the initial offering hype, they may have to lower their price.

wow, that's good that they're making they're own. I like most of the products I've purchased from them.

I'm curious to see the durability, versatility.. can you bring it into the shower? How is the flexibility? Etc..

I don't know if you'd really want to bring a 100 pounds doll into the shower lol... Seems...dangerous...
