Daria is continuing to photograph Giorgi, and when you get dolls and rope together, fun things happen - Just goofing around with some ribbon.
This picture is a lucky accident out of the hundreds of pictures that were taken.
I love the way the nipples are backlit.




The inspiration for this pose came from this picture. I think Giorgi matched the pose very well.

Hey Scooter, I hope you took Giorgi with you on your trip.. Looking forward to the next set of interesting pictures..
That delicate woven cloth is the perfect backdrop.. I have a few like that myself.. experimentation always produces the best results..!

It's actually some old curtains.
I tucked it aside thinking I could make some clothes out of it, but the weave is not fine enough for tiny clothes.
However, when I saw the picture I wanted to emulate, I realised that if hung it in front of the window, I could get the same back-lit effect.

Unfortunately, my dolls cannot physically travel with we. They come along virtually.
I take pictures while imagining how they would look in the scene.
When I get home I manipulate the pictures so that others can see what I imagined.

I'm back from trip 1 but leaving on trip 2 in a couple days.
All the pictures will have to wait until sometime in October.

Giorgi takes off her boots !

As I mentioned earlier, Giorgi is my first experience with Phicen.
She is a Vampirella, Asian edition.

When she arrived, I was completely surprised to find that her boots didn't contain any feet.
Just a black plastic stub inside the boot for attaching to her leg post.
Because of this, Giorgi could not remove her boots, and as worn them in all her pictures.

Then the LoneRanger came to her rescue.
He heard of Giorgi's dilemma and offered to send her some feet.

Late in July, a little package arrived at our door with 2 pairs of feet and 2 pairs of ankle bracelets.
One pair of feet were for flats and the other for high heels.
I have finally gotten around to using the feet as part of Daria and Giorgi in Portugal.

Don't worry, the boots have not gone forever.
I think Giorgi looks damn sexy in them.
They will make future appearances.

This "mini introduction" thread will be evolving into Giorgi's Photo Timeline similar to Daria's Photo Timeline.
Her timeline will be an index that recaps all her activities across the TDF forum.

New Timeline Entry - Giorgi wins a Contest !!!
Giorgi won the very first contest she entered.
She won the Oct18 Cat E Miniature Challenge "The Great Outdoors" contest.
I want to thank Hollow's for setting up the rules such that the photo had to be taken outdoors.
This forced me to take Giorgi into the backyard, a place she has never been before.
I ended up capturing a lot of interesting pictures that will be assembled in a future series.

New Timeline Entry - All Portugal photos have now been posted.
Over the last month we ( Daria, Giorgi, and myself ) have been posting pictures from our Portugal vacation.
The series is now complete.

On the technical side, I learned several water based Photoshop techniques during this series.
At the pool, I needed to render water drops on Giorgi because I forgot to mist her before taking the picture.
Also, I needed to distort underwater Giorgi with water ripples.
I'm not totally please with them. My ripples are too symmetrical.
Later I found a tutorial that used a displacement map to give a much more random effect.
