Hi Everyone,

I'm a research student and I'm interested in learning about your experiences and views on dolls. I would really appreciate your help!

I have designed a survey, see link below, which should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. It aims to gain a clear, honest insight into this growing community. The survey is entirely anonymous, and all questions are optional! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

I'm dying to visit England. If I do, do you have any events, dolls or otherwise, that I should visit? Do you know of any big events there, for people with disabilities?

I was actually surprised at the intelligent questions. You've clearly already undertaken a fair amount of research and I'd be happy to answer more questions.

Some good questions that made me think a little. Very good to see someone who's done some background research on their subject, and seems genuinely interested.

Thank you for doing this! I just took this survey too. Makes me wish I was back in college and doing research. Did mine on tattooing over 20+ years ago and that was considered taboo then. How I would love to do this on dolls!

It seems many of us enjoyed this opportunity to share our motivations and experiences in the name of science; especially when we can't tell our friends or family! I too would love to see what comes of it.

There are lots of brilliant events going on here! Unfortunately you just missed the International Conference for Love and Sex with Dolls, but there are numerous events going on, including those for people with disabilities!

Unfortunately the research is technically the intellectual property of the University. However, I'll make some enquiries, and personally would love to be able to share my results with you all!

Hi Hollywu,

A fellow Anthropologist I see! I too have done research on tattooing, however the Doll Community proved to be one that is still often misunderstood and misrepresented, and I think requires more honest, academic exposure.
