Whoa - that's very exciting! So there is a 300 pound deposit .. what is the total cost of the doll? And I saw that they had some pictures with a Kayla head .. what other faces will it be offered in?

The videos are great! The facial movements (especially things like, fluctuations in the cheeks) are ridiculously life-like

Just a couple of questions -

As asked above, any idea what the total cost of the head would be? I'd gladly put down a deposit, but if I can't afford the total cost, then what's the point, you know?

Is any oral interaction safe (sex, kissing, etc)? Or, safe within limited constraints (e.g., no lube/liquids in the oral cavity, etc)?

The videos are amazing glad you like them too.
First generation head only, the robotic head has just been completed, with a simple software, but DS haven’t made the decision to start mass production yet.

They are still working on improvements to the software and also the mechanical structure, which is most important, to make her even more beautiful. The oral interaction is something that we may not see until the further generation release of head only, but it is being considered.

The deposit is fully refundable, the commercial price still yet to be determined, the indications we have had before between $1800-$2500 but again these are not committed prices, they have been quoted in our media releases previously, the doll bodies like the new EVO are all on our website at $2700-$3000, I can see the head and body combination being around $6000 but is all speculation.

Still looking better and better with every update! I'm very interested in this product, but need to see how it can interact with someone who doesn't speak chinese first If I remember correctly the software is supposed to be quite open for addons and further development by the community? I really hope that is still the case.

I'm also thinking that the electronics can wear out pretty quickly, if used regularly. Hope they make it fairly modular and not too hard for us to buy spare parts and swap behind that face.

But still - thanks for the updates to this exciting technology!! The hardest part for enthusiasts like us is not getting any communications. So thank you for getting the information out there.

I will have key notes and presentation on the technical details not before too long now.

Launch is very imminent, cannot be specific but we are most certainly prepared now and ready for pre orders at Cloud Climax.

So do they know which faces will be available yet?
And will the faces be interchangeable like they are on Real Dolls version?

One face for the Lady, one face for the Male doll version.
The male version currently being worked on.
The female face is based on the Yolanda face, interchangeable, not sure at the moment. I think we will see more developments in the coming months ahead.

I cannot comment I’m afraid on Realbotix as I don’t follow this company too closely. I have no interest in the brand or developments, so for me to comment on them is inappropriate.

Thanks for the update! I think if they can mass produce this kind of heads, the cost should be below $1000. That's already a premium price for added functions. A head for $2000 is simply out of reach for most of us in the TDF. From what I see, besides the cost of the research, there shouldn't be any expensive material in the head, they are just metal, plastic, motor and wires. Not many people can really justify paying a head like that for $2000.

Just my 2 cents. I know you cannot post comments about this. So I don't expect any.

There are a lot of people with money where $2000 is reasonable. When compared to the RealDoll (Abyss) version, its very reasonable. I think that the RD version is $7000 , which is outlandish. I don't know who has that kind of money who can't just get a willing woman.

I'm in my 20's with a good paying job and no dependents. AND I WOULDN'T pay $7K for a robot head.

if she 6000 or 7000 i think worth it i would pay that much she is asian

Its all speculation at this point but I need to point out that the head by itself will not cost $7K. Not sure where you got that from. It will be a head/body combination.

Manny is right the competitors robotic head will cost $7,999 (whoa!) for just the head, which I agree is too expensive. I am hoping DS Doll robotic head will be in price range of $2000 to $3000. 8000 dollars is just too much.
