As you can see from the picture she is still looking good, the factory makeup and eyebrows are still there, the TPE she is made from has been quite resilient and durable. The finger wires are still pretty delicate and are getting a little loose but gloves do help. I did have to retighten her back joint again. the nut was spot welded on originally to keep it from backing off, in order to tighten the joint I broke the the weld. This time I peened the nut and and used Loctite hopefully it stays tight. I was also able to clean up her surgical scar a little.
Kaley's TPE has not held any stains permanently, she can get a stain from clothing but it takes a while. That is why I keep her in mostly greys or light pastel colors long term, as they do not stain her even after leaving them on her for weeks at a time or longer. I have discovered that thigh high socks are great for using with skirts and shorts to keep her legs protected against abrasion while still allowing easy access for play time. I have also found that a form fitting crop top with long sleeves and finger holes is great for protecting arms and hands.
In conclusion I am very happy with Kaley so far and hope I will not have to replace her anytime soon.

Today I got brave and took her outside and spent the morning with her before the weather turns. Here are a few pictures, As Kaley is very heavy and her joints are loosening up I wasn't very creative with posing her.

I think this is my favorite of Kaley's outfits, although she looks pretty good in her jeans.
I would like her to wear things with a little more color but I don't want to stain her.

In an outfit like this you don't need to - plus getting those leggings on probably took all your energy - but worth it.b33 wrote:As Kaley is very heavy and her joints are loosening up I wasn't very creative with posing her.

Yeah the leggings were pretty tough to get on almost as difficult as getting her up and down the stairs to get her outside, she's much easier to deal with in her natural environment "The Bed"Studio wrote:In an outfit like this you don't need to - plus getting those leggings on probably took all your energy - but worth it.b33 wrote:As Kaley is very heavy and her joints are loosening up I wasn't very creative with posing her.

You're welcome!Jets Fan wrote:Thanks again for sharing these photos. They show off the this model better than the studio photos. I saw that you also had the 161c. I was interested in that one but despite the very realistic proportions, the body is just way too petite. The 164D is one of the rare TPE dolls with a realistic waist size at 26”.
Realistic waist size is very important to me when considering a doll, the 161c was great very realistic proportions and better LHP but she was just too small for me, Kaley feels like a real woman when I'm lying next to her in bed when I put my arms around her there is real weight and substance which my 161c just didn't have.
Re: Kaley 2.0 164D N24
My only last reservation is head size. I think you mentioned in another thread that that n17 and n24 looked a bit small on the 164D body. I’ve seen that mentioned in relation to a couple other heads for this body as well. Do 6YE heads skew to the smaller side? And if so, is there any way to find the measurements for heads?
Re: Kaley 2.0 164D N24
I think most doll heads are on the small side because they have to work with petite bodies, so when you see them on a truly full sized doll they look slightly undersized. it also seams that the back of the skull is under sized to save weight and material, but this gives the head an odd shape that looks smaller than normal and makes most adult wigs to big.Jets Fan wrote:I’ve been going back and forth with the right brand and model to buy for realism.
