Re: MannequinFan items for sale
I'm not sure if you were meaning to ask a question, but the eyelids I make are designed mainly for TPE dolls that use the +/-32mm half round eyes. They do work with some silicone dolls that use the 30mm cartridge type eyes shown here..nosmoking1979 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 1:18 pm There is now a way to retrofit eyelids to close, even for silicone dolls like Gynoid Tayu etc...

Some silicone dolls use a different type of cartridge eye that is bullet shaped and has smaller eyes (+/-24mm).
I have an EME version for this type of system, but not eyelids.

I am looking to order more eye irises in different colors. I already have the EME set, just really need iris options right now. Do you have a way to purchase? Thanks in advance!

The Shapeways deal was also too tempting, nice to see you keep fine-tuning the eyelids, just bought a 6/7 set and will be very interested to try them out .

I think you'll like the eyelid finishing jig. It's really indispensable if you're doing a lot of eyelid work...

Yes, this actually went in the cart first, I was really pleased to see you thought of that. The number of times I've been chasing eyelids around the desk, eyeshadow smeared everywhere, with Mira sniggering in the corner, perched on her head stand. Really looking fwd to giving this a go!

Re: MannequinFan items for sale
One has 26mm eyeballs and the pink case is 30mm diameter, the other is bigger and has +/-33mm diameter eyeballs (like TPE dolls), and the pink case is probably around 37mm diameter.
It appears that (some?) Starpery dolls are using the larger size. SM dolls appear to be using the smaller ones, and not sure what other brands use these type of eyes. In light of this, if your doll has this type of eye, PLEASE VERIFY THE SIZE BEFORE YOU ORDER.
If you have the larger size, the standard 32mm EMEs with the modified pedestal base will work the best.
Below is an example of a Starpery head (No.29/Rozanne) with the standard 32mm EMEs (MF20 iris) from fbiwestin's thread here...

Re: MannequinFan items for sale
Yeah, it's hard for me to understand why they would want to use such a large eye in a silicone head, making it even more risky to change them.Stocking_Hunter wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 7:48 pm Seriously?
