The 164 and 165 asses are very close in size and shape. The 165 sets the bar high for this size backside! The 165 is perfectly round and very enjoyable!
The 164 has a lottle more meet on her cheeks if that makes sense. But some things become difficult when that much girth is starring you down!
Theybare both very nice and the 165 is the winner for me out of those 2.

quite tempted to go the extra half mile and upgrade from TPE, although i'd have extreme difficulty deciding between 172 & 171..

You won't be disappointed from what I've seen with SLE. Any choice is only for personal preference, they're all provide an awesome experience!

I'm a bit worried by the idea because i've seen gel boobs sag with other dolls. now originally I discovered the problem the hard way - and with subsequent dolls i've been able to avoid it but it does add stress to the doll experience, i.e. being paranoid about leaving it resting the wrong way. i think having a bra for it helps (+ positioning the arms to support it etc)

would a gel ass be problematic if you left the doll lying on its back?
would it be ok leaving it lying on it's front (if the boobs were defended by a cushion raising the body such that they weren't being squashed)

Gel inserts are the best! They are very realistic feeling and without is not as good. Simple. I haven't had any problems with Zelex gel ass or breasts.
I would recommend SLE obviously..lol
Don't store laying flat or it can deform the body over time. I store all mine standing and they do fine, some standing for years with never any issue.

photo request, if you have time.. would you be able to do some photos of them in a kind of prone position (with the vagina visible).. mostly flat, but tilt/raise the hips just a little. distinct from a 'face down doggy' in that the legs & back are near horizontal.
no problem if it's too much hastle (I can trade some photos of WM's like the 174G like this if you need ..)

the vagina does look a bit recessed (although correct in overall placement). but with the legs straighter this might not be the case. Surprisingly i'm able to use the WM172D like this (despite it's unrealistic LHP) - but not the WM/AK173C

I think i'm leaning toward the 171 from that lineup (awesome pics so far!), but i've also been corrupted by this community and have long been tempted by the IT164 (is that the 164 there?) aswell (despite knowing from current doll experience that 95cm hips are the practicality/hotness sweetspot). so even the 165 gets on my wishlist.

I had the chance to interact with a real SLE 172E at the Doll Meet a few weeks ago.

While I've yet to pull the trigger, I am pleased to report:

* The skin feel is amazing
* The face is very realistic and soft, wig is great for a 'stock' or 'in-house' wig.
* The boobs feel great AND
* The boobs jiggle under INdirect force - like when you're rubbing their stomach below the breast, or slapping against their thighs. This is My Thing that is VERY hard to find.
* The tush jiggles under INdirect force, like when repositioning legs or for a while after handling them
* The 'presence' is impressive: Height, facial expression, no 'cartoony' unrealistic proportion impression, etc.

I also like the new AK168, the skin is great, presence strong, looks great, the breast FEEL is fantastic, but there's not much indirect jiggle (ie boob bounce when you are touching other parts or rocking them, or are having sex) which is my 'thing'. I have a WM159G ultra soft that is not jiggly much at all, though they feel great.

I wish I could hit the button on the 166K, I love the proportions (I'm not into big thighs or tush) but the nipples are located too high up the breasts for such a chesty body, they should be facing center and forward on the largest diameter of the boob, or point a notch down due to gravity. I've never seen a real woman, esp. a chesty one, wear a bikini on top of her breasts instead of over the front of them (check some of the promo pics and you'll see this). I think the 166K body is the best overall, and could be made a little less chesty, and I say this as a boob guy. If the 166 was made into a D or B, that might fill the "WM166" ideal niche with all the new qualities of the SLE design.

But my next doll will DEFINITELY be a SLE 171 or 172, with the 164 or 166 after that.

one more question out of interest..
would you be able to measure the degree to which the vagina channel bends when the legs are raised ?
the experiment can be done by rolling up a thin aluminum foil tube then flattening it as a strip, posing the doll flat, on its back, inserting the foil strip/tube into the vagina, then lift the legs up to 90 degrees, (allowing the doll vagina to bend the foil) , then removing it without deforming it further.
With my WM172D & WM174G, this experiment shows the channels bend by something near to 30degrees ballpark for the legs up at 90deg.

I'm wondering if that slight recess in the vagina is part of a design tradeoff that might change how it deforms (but that might be wishfull thinking).
In my ideal world, dolls would have this measurement in the spec sheet.. it affects the useability for different users in various positions.
for me specifically, I haven't yet found a doll that works for me in missionary with the legs up. (I kind of have a fetish for this pose hence the eyecandy section 'legs up thread' , which incidentally the ZX SLE 172E would look amazing on ..)
