REAL DOLL PRICE DROP $2,000 a pop?

If I was matt I would drop the price of Real Dolls down to $2,000 for 3 months.

His employees would probably have to take a pay cut for that. On the other hand, if all the $2000-budget crowd gives him their business during this international crisis, he'd definitely come out ahead and have the means to run the show without cutting wages.

The materials alone are what you are wanting the doll for. Then add labor, factory expenses, etc. Your dreaming.

Matt would be giving the dolls away.

The Classic body because it is pre-built with no available upgrades at $4000.00 is a bargain. Get it at a 20% off Sale and it's a steal.

Yea it would be nice if Ferrari dropped their price of their cars to $20k too, but don't hold your breath. You are asking for the price of a Commissioned work of Art that takes 80 working hours to complete, and then there the cost of materials and facilities.

I imagine that’s on Apple’s side as the have strict control over iOS software. I’m an iOS user and it’s really my only gripe. The only realistic option right now is to buy a used Android phone/tablet, get the software and then remove the sim.

They are having a 20% sale right now so a second gen would be $5600USD with no options.

I drive a Toyota and it runs and looks just GREAT...and the price ..

It sits in the garage a lot and is not "used" that much. I would never buy a Ferrari
only to just sit in the garage, my Toyota makes me happy at 1/4 the cost.

I think all doll prices should be lowered it’s a risk shipping can damage dolls need better packaging IMHO... but real dolls ship better but I don’t have the room for their wooden crate...and are out of my price range. But would love to have one.

I have both a TPE doll and a RealDoll.
In my opinion the prices for each doll accurately reflect the build quality of each. You get what you pay for.
Like any product, Abyss (and any other manufacturer) will price their dolls at a price point at which they think the market will accept.
Whether you think that price is good value or not is up to you the buyer. It's just basic economics, supply and demand.

Abyss do have sales on fairly regularly with 20% discounts. They just had a Valentines Day 20% off everything sale!

As for me, I'm VERY happy with both my dolls and wouldn't change either of them and have no regrets buying each one.
