As the name implies this section is for offering on-topic items for sale.
If you are interested in making a request use the WANTED section instead.
Anything not related to exchanging items, such as wanting information should be done outside the market such as in the "Dolls In General" forum.
TDF is not an e-commerce platform and our market section is made available as a privilege for regular members only!
Newly registered members are not eligible to use the market.

Rules for offering items for SALE
Rules for offering items for SALE:
All posts made to the market have to be approved by a moderator before they show up !
Posts not compliant with the rules below will be rejected !
In order to ensure an initially accurate representation of the item(s) for sale a set of pictures is required for each sale item, therefore:
Every item that is part of the sale needs to be shown in a picture of reasonable quality (high resolution, not blurry).
If the item includes a doll head, then there must be at least one picture of the front of the head, without wig.
If the item includes a doll body, these there must be at least one picture each showing the entire front and back of the doll.
If the item includes openings intended for sexual intercourse then there must be at least one picture clearly showing the state of each opening.
All these pictures must include a handwritten paper sheet with username & date on them with the sheet not obscuring parts of what is shown and the date no older than 10 days.
All these mandatory pictures must be attached to the post, links are not valid.
If the item on offer has damages, repairs or modifications you should also provide pictures showing these if possible, it is recommended to also use the username/date paper sheet, adding an arrow or region indicator to the image is OK here.
You are free to show additional pictures, such as the doll being dressed in your initial or later posts, however all those pictures must show the item in question unmodified - the use of photo manipulation, such as "smile" apps is not allowed within the market.
That stated, you may link to other threads/posts (but not directly to the photos) within TDF if you want to refer to artistic shots done with the doll on offer (image manipulation is OK for those).
The seller should provide as much information about the item for sale as possible, including but not limited to brand, type, options, material and the like, we do provide a template in the post below to make this easier for dolls.
If information in an ad is found to be intentionally incorrect, including image manipulation, a manipulated note in images or the image not showing the actual item for sale, it may result in a forum ban.
Selling multiple identical items (dolls, heads) based on one Ad is strictly forbidden. Each item must be offered individually.
It is the sellers responsibility to make sure his post can be understood by an international audience, even if the sale is intended only for his country of residence.
For example a date should look like 02-APR-2020 or APR-02 2020 (month in letters) and not like 04-02-2020 as the latter might be read as 4th of February 2020 and then disapproved due to the pictures being too old.
It is also the sellers responsibility to show the item(s) for sale in a presentable clean looking fashion.
For Sale Ads showing items presented in a questionable state may be disapproved - items showing mold or similar health hazards will be disapproved.
If what is offered in your For Sale Ad has changed from what you actually offer, you should post about this in your thread as soon as possible.
For instance, if accessories offered in combination with a doll are no longer available or if the quality of the doll offered has changed, like new damages or new repairs.
Basically if any of the information you provided originally has changed, this should be clearly mentioned in a follow-up post.
If needed you may also ask a staff member to edit your original ad to reflect the change.
For Sale Ads have a maximum lifespan of 12 months and will also be removed if the original poster doesn't log in for more than a month, doesn't answer questions within a month, or doesn't make a post on the thread at least once every three months.
The market is intended for occasional transactions between private parties; it is not meant to be abused in a business-like fashion with the intention to make a profit, or for some kind of trading scheme. In general, members should not have more than two For Sale Ads active simultaneously.
Also, in general there should be only one doll offered per For Sale Ad, offering multiple items such as heads or clothing is otherwise generally OK - make sure the individual offerings can be clearly identified.
If you think you have reasons to deviate from these guidelines kindly explain them inside your Ad and/or contact the moderator(s) assigned to the market, your Ad might otherwise be rejected.
Once your For Sale Ad is no longer needed please inform the moderators by posting "SOLD" into the thread or asking for it to be removed (item no longer offered).
Note that while we would like to allow as many transactions as possible we have to stay within the currently established global laws.
This may lead to disapproval or allowing only partial offers (such as offering only the body) if the item in question is deemed as leaving legally safe grounds.
We know that this may be inconvenient for some of our users but ask for your understanding in view of the greater picture.
Because public offers are not allowed in sales topics, and to avoid other complications, public auctions are not allowed at the Market.
For quick approval and to keep sales easy to read for prospective buyers, we have created a template in the post directly below that can be used to create your own offering.

Manufacturer/Vendor - Special Market Rules
Manufacturer/Vendor - Special Rules:
Manufacturers/Vendors can only use the Sales forum to sell irregular items such as blemished, cancelled-order, second-hand or likewise.
Sales (special offers of regular items) need to be posted inside their Manufacturer/Vendor section.
All pictures must clearly show the actual item for sale but a paper note showing username and date is not required.
Update by TDF_Management: stock clearance is not regarded selling irregular items. Having a paper note showing username and date in all pictures is recommended. Moderators may ask to do so.
Manufacturers/Vendors can only use the Sales forum to sell irregular items such as blemished, cancelled-order, second-hand or likewise.

Update by TDF_Management: stock clearance is not regarded selling irregular items. Having a paper note showing username and date in all pictures is recommended. Moderators may ask to do so.
