TDF running EXTREMELY slow/ timing out/ crashing... anyone?

Before you ask, it ain't me..

I'm rockin 150 mbps internet, as speed-tested several times, I have tried on different devices (PC and phone) and both slow as hell, timing out. Other websites are running perfectly fine similtaniously. And then it will get back to normal for a while, then randomly it'll be back to shitty for several minutes. This is at random times, not during the nightly server data dump. I have asked a member of staff about this, thinking that there were too many members on and maybe the site is getting bogged, and he said there's no way we're at capacity, and his TDF was running just fine whilst mine was dogshit. I am accessing from the USA.

...so... anyone else have some possible insight?

*Edit, The site crashed for me and I reloaded 5 times just to post this.. seriously wth..

Is this happening to everyone else? I wouldn't be surprised if we are coming under DDOS attack by hostile anti-doll groups..

So I wasn't the only one it seems. tried a few hours ago and it was non existent. Now it seems fine.

yeah, all good again on my end, for the last half hour or so.. but tonight isn't the first time i've noticed this (though this was the longest it's done it).. strange, and possibly worrisome. Hope the cause is easy to find and fix

It lasted over an hour when I started browsing around.
I had to check a website to see if it was down for everyone, and it confirmed that it did.
All the other websites that I'm on were fine except for this one at the time it happen.

I couldn't use it last night, seems fine now. I'll ask the server admin if anything needs to be done but I guess it was a datacenter issue where TDF is hosted.

It really does seem like a DDOS attack.

I couldn't get on for a while, but the rest of the internet worked fine. Unless the server went down or there were serious connection issues on the server-side then DDOS is the next most logical thing.

For those that don't know a DDOS happens when a large group of computers is used to overwhelm a website. This is usually done by hackers. Since all of these computers are making connections normal users cannot make a connection themselves. Hence constant page timeouts, inability to connect, etc.

If, as an earlier poster indicated, this not only happened to one doll site, and if the pages are not on the same server then this is quite worrisome. It would be logical to assume that someone has set their sights on the doll community and are liable to do it again.

It is definitely a bad sign.
