Stain from TPE on bedsheet

Post by DEXTER645 »

Hi Guys,

I know that the usual discussion is about "color stain from clothes on our doll and how to not getting our doll being stained" but here it's slightly different.
I'm aware TPE is oily and therefore will leave some greasy spots on bed sheet/clothes and so on...So i've used soap, washing powder to wash my bed sheet to get rid of those huge oily spot ( i've tried to wash my bed sheet at 60°C ...no result). So i'm quite disappointed to see that these TPE stains are still there no matter the temperature or washing powder i'm using.
Do you manage to get rid of those oily TPE stain ? how ? what do you use or how do you wash them?
Thank you for your tip and advice

Dex

It has been along time since any of my TPE dolls stained any bedsheets, but if I remember correctly the stains came out in the wash with no problem.

I don't have that problem with my doll, but I do get oily stains on my clothes from working on the car. A pre-treat with Dawn dish soap usually takes care of it. One caution and it may already be too late in this case, hot water will sometimes set stains permanently on fabric! Cool or luke warm water works best for cleaning.

I've had my girl for over a year and she still sweats in bed. I've never had a issue getting it out though. Always washed right out in the washer with no special attention needed. I use 100 percent cotton or satin sheets though so not sure if that's the difference. I also only own darker sheets black, blue, brown etc. Not sure if that's the difference. I remember the first time I slept with her in bed and was a little mad she runinded my sheets but was relieved to see it washed right out.

I've used "Oxi Clean" pre-treat stain remover with good success.

These gals sweat!

Is it a function of TPE breaking down?

Hi Guys,
thank you for your tips;...mmmh i see that i may have made a bad decision in washing my bedsheet at 60°C....hot water....apparently it sets the oil in the bedsheet permanently ...so that's why it doesn't vanish...i will try the " oxi clean" product which looks promising.

Actually, even my silicone doll leaves very obvious oil stains on my synthetic leather sofa which takes quite an enormous effort to get rid of...

TPE is a blend that includes Mineral oil, how much oil will seep out depends on the blend :)

Seconding Dawn Dish Soap. Rips the mineral oil right out. There is also a degreaser sold in autoparts stores - Fast Orange. That is a last resort, but works great.
Reverend Jacks Roamin' Cadillac Sex Doll Repair. Roamin' the land fixin' dollies and handing out salvation from the back of his Cadillac.

ALSO TRY Reverend Jack's Anointed Snake Oil, good for cleansing stains from the body and the Soul! Step right up folks, only $5 a bottle! We got plenty to go around! Cash only please.
