PM is in outbox, not sent?

Hi, I haven't really used PM functionality in forum software, for all of my years.
I just got through my "new member" phase, I THINK.
I noticed that I am allowed to use the PM UI, and I've had my 5 posts, but when I replied to a forum thread I still got a "pending moderator approval" message.

My real issue is that I tried to send a PM, and it is showing up in my outbox and not my "sent" items.

I am not sure if that means my message has gone through, or if there is a problem.

All I can seem to do is hit the "submit" button with my PM.

The message remains in the Outbox until the recipient opens it.

Well, don't keep hitting the "submit" button or it's liable to show up a dozen times.
