Re: Multiple UCP functions missing

Post by TDF_Management »

Owing to several incidents in which members have accdentily deleted all their attachments rendering many doll posts and reviews meaningless we decided to remove access to attachments. Once other members start posting on a thread it is unfair to them if the OP deletes his photos making other member photos meaningless.

Members have a 24 hour grace period under which they can edit and delete their post. The attachments can also be deleted during that period via the post.

If a member does (without malice) need to delete attachments after the grace period he can do so by contacting our support.

Is there a way to prevent deletion but still provide access to the gallery? I wanted to link to a previous attachment I made so I was trying to find the URL of the image I'd uploaded.

You can use the search function looking for endings like .jpg if it's an attachment.
Plus enter your own username on the author-field.
This will give you at least those results where you put in said attachments.
Other way: Go to your profile and then go on your posts, where you then can find all your post listed. You can also search for the pictures there.
It's not the same but it helps to access them :3 Then just save and reupload.
In your case I could find 42 matches with .jpg in it and 6 entries with .mp4

Yeah I'm just used to doing it the easy way and looking up the gallery. I'm also not sure whether all the images were .jpg, some could be .jpeg or .png or .gif. but it's better than nothing I guess.
