shoe size ???

i have a question for RD2 body 2 owners
i know they use size 5-6 shoes but im not really sure about the size
so i just wanted to ask witch high heels size fit bedst

After shopping for doll clothes I have come to the conclusion that women's clothing size is all just random. Sizes mean nothing. Each manufacturer and country of origin use their own system. Not just shoes, but everything. You can ether take your doll into the store to get fit, or use the mail-order hit and miss method.

Maybe someone here knows a particular shoe that will fit well.
Maybe it is not all as bad as I think it is, or maybe it is.

Most times I just put socks on my doll's feet. I do own shoes and buy a size 6. I have a RD classic, body 2.
Say, I notice you are located at Bodensee. I visited there about 30+ years ago when I was in the Army on leave. Nice part of the world you are at. prost

Unfortunately I have to agree with the random shoe size. At least in Canada. I bought boots that were supposed to fit one of my Dolls... I think it was CJ... Not even close.. If your a Realgirl this is not a problem you can go and try on various sizes and buy what fits... Buying for a doll... Not so much.

.. And it just nailed me why women NEED TO love shopping so much.... It's not necessarily a pass time but a true necessity to find what fits... Jeebus I thought I would never justify that!!!..

It depends a lot on the shoe manufacturer. Abyss has a guide that is usually close.5/6 will work.

Bit late here DanishDollLover - but the best way I've found is to trace around the dolls foot then take the paper or cardboard with you to the shops and you get the perfect fit.

If you're shopping online you're back to the guessing game ....good luck I hope this helps.

Taylor (Body C) is listed as an 8/9 ... I have trouble getting 10/11 to fit. I've all but given up on shoes, not to be a downer but I'd find a company that makes a few styles you like and buy one to see how they fit. I ditched almost $500 worth of shoes I bought before she arrived only to find out none fit.

So far, I've either been very lucky with online shoe shopping, or here in the Netherlands, the sizes are more consistent.

Realdoll suggest a size 6 or 7 for Kaylani.
As a US size 6 corresponds with a size 36 here, that's the size I've been buying for the most part, and they all fit, some have a bit more room than others, but I've not yet come across a pair that was too small.
