Yes they did, it was a hard plastic similar to plumbing pipe which would fail under the stress of a stiff joint :thumbs_up:

Hi I hope you can find a way to get her repaired :thumbs_up: I see there are casting difficulties involving heat when using TPE,perhaps with silicone there may be a use in some kind of shock absorber. Hi so I had a bit of time today,it is 20mm nut size There was a small spot weld I had to use vice grips and a spanner which broke the weld adding another flat washer would give more grip The problem with this is it cannot be done whilst in situ as the joint needs to be fully unscrewed If any one wan...
