Plus one connector, one body, ten heads.

Re: Beginner question

Actually, OP, BIG question is who made your doll? I assumed it was a Jinsan because of your description, but now I realize you could be speaking of other dolls.

Still seems like Jinsan, but it would be best if you told us your dolls model.

Re: Beginner question

I use the snap connector in the body. I think it fits better, but both my new body and old heads fit the new connector. D9KYEcYo3vs It's really about whether the threads were ground down. Don't know if Jinsan did this to be proprietary or not. I can modify them to make it work. Your vendor on a new ...

It's probably just tight. A large flat head screwdriver should remove it. Otherwise a good pair of channel locks should be able to get it out.

Re: Beginner question

Sadly it's not about the ball lock. Jinsan is modifying the threads on necks and heads to fit this design. The threads are ground flat instead of sharp like a standard M16 nut. Most new bodies and heads from Jinsan should fit, but it seems some models take awhile to cycle through the factory. I have...

Re: Beginner question

20181105_170654.jpg If it looks like this it's the snap connector. It should snap into the neck. If not, it should have a slot on the end for a Flathead screwdriver. Take it out of the head and place it in the body. Head should then snap on. If they don't fit I have regular all threads that will, o...

Re: Questions about molding/working with TPE

@Rick I use scissors mainly for cutting TPE strips. The problem with heat is getting the temperature just right. Too little it doesn't work. Too much it burn the TPE. Plus TPE fumes are pretty bad for you. I do my heat work outside. It can be done, but you need to get your temperature just right. @d...

Re: Do I need to oil my girl's face?

I use oil frequently as a cleaning method. I don't allow it to soak in. I actually just used Baby Oil to clean the dirt off of MJ's head. My hands still smell of the baby oil.

I don't ever oil for maintenance. I oil for cleaning frequently. Probably evens out.

Re: Hello, I'm New

Sculptor may cause more delays than custom. Seems to be the case with JellyNew.

Especially with the new year, Chinese.

I'm pretty sure I know that order. Scheduled a pickup for tomorrow. You got the last of that color TPE I had as samples, but I got a new stock order today with a couple of kilograms of more samples and other things. Going to take some time to add it all to my store.

Re: knee joints

Solvent has it's place for the right repairs. I've used it a lot for repairs. Mostly for minor stuff only. Heat is the way to close larger wounds. I use surgical tools to cut open. If I take my time I can get a good cut. Really sharp scissors work also. All that said a WM is probably welded nut to b...
