Re: TPE stain remover- what is it?

The 10% benzoyl peroxide acne cream is pretty much the standard now for use as a safe and tested TPE stain remover. Multiple posts and threads here on TDF about it. Also, look at the dates of the prior posts and the doll horror stories. They were way back in 2019. That was about a decade or so ago ...

Re: TPE stain remover- what is it?

Not sure exactly, but you can go to your local pharmacy and buy acne ointment with either 2.5 or 5% Benzoyl Peroxide. It does the same thing. Thanks for the suggestion! Local store's acne ointment sounds like the better play from a cost efficiency perspective versus a marketed "TPE stain remov...

I tried removing them without success
If the stains are on the surface, did you try 10% benzoyl peroxide acne cream?

If the stains are occurring because the skeleton has rusted it would be easier to buy a new doll.

Re: Different head pictures?

Anyone got pictures of their different brand heads? TPE heads from ASDoll, AFDoll, JYDoll and AIBEI should be a near identical match if ordered in Light Tan. These heads are sold by many TDF vendors, as well as many reputable others. Ensure any head you order is made for dolls over at least 140cm t...

Re: Oops, cleaned off her teeth!

Many eye cosmetic kits come with a white. If the teeth need repainting, dip a fine flat brush in a little mineral oil and then the white powder, mix this around some you will see it work up like a paint. Paint this mix onto the teeth. Carefully paint with downward strokes, paint each individual toot...

no fix short of heat gun If the head is damaged, heads from JY/AS/AF and AIBEI in light tan or equivalent (make sure) should be a near exact match. For a few examples, see this post: Anyone got pictures of their different brand heads? TPE heads from ASDoll, AFDoll, JYDoll and AIBEI should be a near...

Re: Fuzzy TPE fix - help plz :)

This doll needs a proper clean. This is the problem. Here is how: From post here https://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2164067#p2164067 -> have a stand of some kind you can use to keep the head secure and stable even if bumped when it is not either in your hand or on the doll. I used a very so...

Re: WM doll head keeps falling off

2 different heads each with quick release bolts. Both of them detach too easily. If the bearings are properly adjusted this should not be happening. From your description of the problem, the bearings are too loose and must be tightened. This can be done using a 'hex key'/'alan key'. A simple set of...

Re: DIY Gel Breasts *tested and working*

Hello everyone. I also thought about the easiest way to "fill" the Hollow breasts. After I saw the pictures of the burst gel breasts and tried to find out what is inside and why it came to such a damage, I found a way to fill the breasts. Tests on my Doll were very successful and the touc...

@FCD94 also appreciate the Wig cleaning tutorial I suppose it applies only to good quality wigs of "similar to human hair" I have a couple of good wigs but never used them so far, keeping them for special occasions No problem! No, it works just fine for all wigs above 'halloween/party' gr...

Re: Mold lips Clean TPE

This does not look like mold. It looks like dirt and grime. The spots you are seeing look like caked dust and oil and grime and old makeup and powder and gunk that has dislodged mixed together and reset. Looking elsewhere on the face as pictured, there is a heavy build up of dust, lint, hair, things...

Re: Tracyy Irontech169 make up Eye contour makeup

I used this mineral oil But strangely it became very soft under the lower lid of the left eye and very thin Do not use oil under the eyes in this area??? I routinely use this oil and have never seen this effect or damaged the head in any way. Try taking a clear picture of what you are seeing, this ...

Re: Tracyy Irontech169 make up Eye contour makeup

What to use to remove makeup from the doll's head I used too much mineral oil and it softened and thinned too much under the left eye Baby oil - same thing as mineral oil - is the correct product for this job. You are not using the wrong product. I suggest you leave the eyebrows alone - do not wipe...
