Re: Parts to repair missing tpe plug seal to prevent mold.

CWA has a proven track record of cold welding but comes up short on Safety data info For some of us with a lifetime of being grounded in MSDS protocols, it is hard to shift from that position of reliance on the quality of info from 3M against the comparatively spartan CWA safety information :) I or...

Re: Parts to repair missing tpe plug seal to prevent mold.

Re: Powder disappearing fast

There were repairs required on the privates upon arrival. The manufacturer said they would send some repair parts, so we'll see.

Re: Parts to repair missing tpe plug seal to prevent mold.

With the pipe still inserted, you might want to put some TPE paste around the plug joint to insure a tight and flexible seal. Unfortunately after reading the post about "Any hard material tube will do," I purchased pvc from the hardware store that night, cut it to size with saw (already h...

Re: Parts to repair missing tpe plug seal to prevent mold.

I've done this repair countless times. Here's my method- Vaseline, nitrile or latex gloved hand, homemade tpe plug (about any shape will do, 1" dia) Lube everything with Vaseline (including gloved hand). Shove hand in there, install plug, no interaction for 48 hours. TPE has the property of fa...

I tried that repair using plastruct bondene and it didn't seal very well so I'll probably have to attempt some sort of Heat Weld.

Re: Powder disappearing fast

Well, there's much bigger problems than the powder issue which need to be dealt with.

Re: A Black Hole - Is she done for?

I received my doll with holes in both private parts visible on the scope. The manufacturer and reseller are both heavily advertised/ discussed here, and I won't mention names yet in light of the TDF policy regarding allowing time to resolve the issue. But its been nearly a month, and emails are bein...

Powder disappearing fast

The powder seems to wear off after just 2-3 days and the tpe is no longer soft on irontech doll. I used a cornstarch powder instead of baby powder. I put on a light coat just enough to make it smooth but not enough to see the white powder. Should I be putting on a heavier amount with powder brush so...

Re: Parts to repair missing tpe plug seal to prevent mold.

I assumed glass was used to prevent the glue from interacting with the tube interior surface, but if it doesn't matter that will make it easier to find!

Re: Softness and Durability

My AF 162 ranked high in the durability department and lower in terms of softness. This didn't bother me personally for that particular doll. However if softness is a concern, my Irontech, HR, and Jinsan dolls all are softer and have better "jiggle". I'm not sure if AF is currently offeri...

Parts to repair missing tpe plug seal to prevent mold.

Despite multiple email requests for verification that the doll I ordered would be sealed, and promises that I had nothing to worry about, upon arrival, the usb cam shows a visible hole in the back of the vagina. This will allow water into the abdominal cavity when cleaning and cause mold, so it must...

Hey, this is super cool and exactly what I’m looking to do, but for a full body realistic skin mod. Did you ever manage to type up those instructions for the coloring and washes? I’d be eternally grateful. Thank you! The coloring stuff is now in notes, no post up yet. The current progression will b...

CB, the wig job looks fantastic! Can I ask you where you got that wig? I've never seen that type, is there a name for it? Thanks, This is called a lacefront wig. Very popular with black girls, you don't want to know why. You can click on all the images I took and zoom in, the hairline looks pretty ...

Re: Condoms for TPE doll

Question. How to ensure you have removed all of the silicone based lubricant from the F2C before you try and use it on your doll? I heard silicone based lubricants will damage dolls. Or am I wrong... Run hot water and scrub between fingers with liquid antibacterial soap on inside and outside for 30...
