Just buy a doll with Kimber skin tone and attach head. The Kimber head isn’t very replaceable because they shaped it with a chin and jaw line but no jaw. Most TDF manufacturers shape heads with a full jaw and chin. This reshape gives Kimber her signature look imo.

Consider using an aquarium air pump to dry doll after each cleaning. This will leave the orifices completely dry every time. No moisture, no mold.

Kimber’s have a firm butt. It’s still pleasant in its own right but indeed less plushy than a more expensive model. The tighter but actually matches the athletic California girl design so it doesn’t detract from the model. Kimber’s too firm breast is a different story, they need to go hollow.

The softness isn’t the problem it’s the internal design. They vary by brand and model. So Kimber internals may feel basic to you but wonderful to the next guy. WM may feel wonderful to you but bland to me. What we really need is to know which design is in each model.
