Great presentation of Kimber. Jointed wrists would be an excellent addition but at her cost what can you expect? Overall she seems to be a very lovely lady and very glad that they decided to add the standing feet.

Thank you for sharing! Though I've already ordered a kimber, it was nice to get some experienced doll owner to demonstrate how to position her. I also liked edward's unboxing video he made. Both have been helpful, thanks guys!

Very nice vid. There's a lot to like about Kimber. Just hope in future there'll be more skin tones, faces and body types offered.

Even better, you're ~4kg lighter than your scales are telling you!

What a great video! I had NO idea the eyes could move.

Although watching the video with Jessica next to me she was looking at me like “babe, if you’re thinking about poking my eyes then you won’t be poking anywhere else!”

Good point about the metal fatigue with the finger wires too! I hadn’t thought about that and I’ll definitely be taking that on board and keeping hand and finger movements to a minimum.

Great voice too. I felt like I was watching a David Attenborough documentary on Kimber Doll.

Having just received my UK Kimber in the last few days (thanks Kimber team!) this video was very useful when working out how to get her out of the box without damage, cheers! Not been brave enough to try standing her and stepping back yet but leading up to that

Thanks Harem, not boring but 40 mins of incredibly useful information.

My main issue/worry is the transition from her laying on the bed to getting her on her feat, having the right hold not to mark the TPE and not dragging her up else I can see her feat taking on a severe case of athletes foot. From your video I can see how you do this and will give the method a go.

Other than taking her head off and hanging her in some macabre way then there will be a lot of laying to standing I think getting her in and out of clothes.

I must say echoing Fletcher, you need to zero the scales first

In the video they looked out at zero.

The unboxing technique was a little bit mire labor intensive than they way I did it, so for those worried about weight handling have a read of this technique from here on

Anung, with the scales it may be the angle of the camera? Because the needle is raised up it gives a different reading compared to looking straight on.... might be wrong though!

Propping the box up and getting her out vertical does look a little less labour intensive, maybe I will consider that in the future but new to dolls and not relaxed with handling them yet, being lower to the ground with less distance to fall seemed like a good idea
