May I ask how tall you are and why you advice for the smaller 150 cm doll?

It happened when turning the head to the side. The metal plug had a faint smell of uncured silicone.
I already fixed it. I used five minute epoxy after prepping the surfaces with some coarse sandpaper and rubbing alcohol. It was a 10 minute fix and the bond is holding perfectly.
I attached some pictures.

I am 6'5". That's 198cm. The doll is 163. She is up to my shoulder height. I don't know if you understand how heavy rubber is. A car tire is a heavy object, She weighs like five car tires stacked together, the weight of a solid rubber doll of this size is unbelievable.skybird100000 wrote:Cheers with yr new doll. I am sure curious to see some pictures.

Also, some people go to the gym often and maybe thinking they can manage the weight, they may be surprised when lifting a doll. I mean, even if on paper she seems not too heavy for you, dumbbells have handles and you can grip them comfortably. This doll, however, is literally like a uncooperative passed out body. You are not going to grab her by the wrist and drag her along the floor, if you do that, the silicone will get shredded away in seconds.
The 150cm is not going to be a feather either, but it is much more manageable.

Some pictures I took while installing a more serious wig.
I used super glue to do this. Super glue does stick to silicone, but it can be peeled off, because there is pretty much nothing that will stick to silicone permanently. This is good, as this wig will eventually get frizzy, tangled and get replaced.

Not bad!
Also bonus, I can pull her hair now

Well done with the wig. I never thought about using glue. And imo better then implanted hair on the longer term.

I can promise you if you use Permatex window sealer adhesive it will never come off on silicone.CBRF41 used super glue to do this. (Of course you should always do a test.)
That wig looks great , really nice job.

Can you give me a more specific product number? Permatex seems to have quite a few products. I am having a bit of hard time finding the right one. I already have two finger pokes.justintime wrote:

In case you wonder, the pictures do have some minimal processing, like exposure comp., contrast, and some lens correction. I also cropped some shots to fix my composition. Mainly, my goal was to try and offset my led ceiling lights, the leds do change her skin tone and the camera fails to see the colors the way my eyes see it, also my flash skills are crap. Otherwise, there was no other editing. I am not trying to hide seams and there was no beauty filter or fake skin textures. I other words, this is how she really looks.
Forgive my lack of experience, this is my first photo shoot, if you have advice on composition, posing, etc., please point it out to me, so I can get better. Also, if there is a pose you want to see, just ask.
Here we go.
